Cape Haven

The location of this home is great. The layout worked well for our party of 11. It was the cleanliness that was an issue.

The house was easy to book. CJoe Vacation Rentals was very easy to work with. Cape Haven is a great house in a perfect location ! Our stay here was great!

Great house- needs some repair but still a frat house!

First vacation rental where we had to deal with mice. The worst part was it was known because we found a trap beside the ice maker. If you rent this one bring everything in plastic tubs!!

Our stay at Cape Haven was mostly wonderful. The location of this house was Perfect!! The house was a perfect size and setup for our family!! There was a few issues that were disappointing with the price we paid. Out of 5 eyes on the stove, only 2 worked. That was very inconvenient since we ate in every night. One tub/shower upstairs had a VERY slow drain, water was backed up on their feet while showering. The sink in the bathroom in bedroom at kitchen was also almost stopped up completely. The landscape on the property had trash in the grass and natural areas, it looked like it hadn’t been cut in a while too.

Cape Haven was a beautiful backdrop for our recent stay on Cape San Blas. The location was convenient and the amenities of the house were better than advertised. The kitchen was well-stocked and allowed us to cook gourmet meals with fresh, local seafood. The house was comfortable enough to host our group without everyone feeling cramped. Our fur babies were welcome and enjoyed their beach trip just as much as the humans. And the sunsets from the back deck were picture perfect. The friendly folks at Coastal Joe are always courteous and helpful and make any stay on the Cape in one of their properties a pleasure. Would definitely rent this place again!

We love staying at Cape Haven. The sunset view and beach are both excellent. We like that the living area is on the bottom with most bedrooms up.

House was perfect for us as it usually is. We fought Red Tide and Gale Warnings, but our stay was great.

This is my favorite home on the cape. It is large enough to fit our entire extended family while giving us all our own space. We visit this home every 2 years to celebrate our anniversary as we got married at this very home. NO matter the weather or what's going on with the tide......its the best place ever!

Cape Haven is a great house and one of our favorites we've ever stayed in! The kitchen is well-equipped, the house is updated and the furnishings are nice and clean with comfortable beds. The layout of the house was great as well! We particularly liked the carpet on the stairs - it cut down on noise tremendously. We go to the cape 2-3 times per year and rent different houses each time because we don't like something about each one but we all loved this house and everything about it and plan to be repeat renters. All of the staff at Coastal Joe's was responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Loved this home...just steps down the boardwalk to the beach. Plenty of room for the 12 of us with 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. This was our first time visiting Cape San Blas and we loved everything about it. Coastal Joe’s was great to work with from start to finish...would definitely use them again.

We loved everything about this house! It was not only beautifully decorated, it the updates were also wonderful! The location was perfect! I’ll have a hard time finding another if this one is unavailable on our next trip!

Cape San Blas never disappoints no matter where you stay.

This home is located on a wide portion of beach. A short boardwalk and your toes in sand. It was very convenient if you had to get more drinks or snacks from the house. The home has multiple decks with loungers and a table for outdoor dining or just enjoying your coffee in the morning. New living room room furniture and an adequately stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. We had a few hiccups upon arrival but one phone call to Coastal Joe and everything was resolved quickly. I highly recommend Coastal Joe as they are always helpful, patient, and will go the extra mile to make sure your vacation is wonderful.

We had a great time staying in this house. It appears to be newly updated (possibly after the hurricane?) and had plenty of space for our family of 8. Directly on the beach, beautiful views, close to the Trading Post. We had so much fun. The only semi "negative" thing I can think of is that the rooms felt a little bit empty/unfinished which I thought might be the result of having to make repairs after the hurricane, and the master shower heads were a bit clogged causing the water coming out of the unclogged holes to be kind of rough. BUT overall we loved it and would definitely come back!

The house was what me and my family (13 people and 2 dogs) were looking for. Close beach access and room for all. The house had some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but we managed.

The not so good first. Main level bedroom and bathroom had not been cleaned. Bed linens were dirty and smelly, bathroom had no towels. Management took care of these problems promptly. Internet was spotty and we had to continually unplug and replug to get service. Management sent at tech person out but he could not change the situation.
Now the good! Great location, much closer to the beach than the pictures on site look. For those of us that cannot be in the sun the screened porch was wonderful. The deck on each level was great for enjoying outside at all hours especially at night seeing all the stars and planets.

This home is perfect for a large family. Very rarely do we find 3 king beds AND a huge bunk room. Our family was able to spread out over the entire home and enjoy the space. Beach is in great shape in front of this home. Screen porch door was torn but we didn't seem to notice any bugs getting in. Home has some minor updating needed but it was clean and had everything we needed.

We've stayed in several houses on the Cape and I really like this house. We've booked it 2 years in a row now. Plenty of space for our 2 families with kids and granny. It's in a great location on the beach and an easy walk to the general store. Definitely recommend this property.

The house was fantastic, it had everything we could possibly need. The rental company was SO easy to work with. You really cannot beat being right on the beach and sleeping with the doors open! Everything was just fantastic!

Fantastic family vacation. Cape Haven is a perfect beach house. Loved the screened in porch and just steps to the beach. House had everything we needed. Views from the upper deck are fantastic.

What an amazing place to stay. We booked this house to stay in and have our wedding on the beach. We were able to bring a few of our closest friends and family to stay with us as well as our beloved rescue dog. It had everything we needed and we literally never left the property. The photos do it no justice as it is so much more than we expected. Definitely will return!

This rental was exactly what we hoped for. Amazing set up for large families, 3 king rooms was perfection. House is a true rental, had some bumps and bruises, but nothing that bothered us. Plenty of room to spread out, great beach gear, and games for kids. Kitchen had NO spices or extra items that had been left behind like some homes, but easily overlooked that. Coastal Joe was awesome to work with. We will rent this again for sure. Beach was wide and uncrowded for this time of year. We did have a snake friend around boardwalk all week, but it didn't bother anyone.
