We had a great time in Cape San Blas. This property was definitely "Secluded". It was clean and had everything we needed including numerous brooms for sand clean-up. We were concerned a little by only seeing the pictures online, but this place is EXACTLY what it looks like!! The kids loved the bunk beds, and close access to the beach. Only thing that was not in working order were the windows. Most did not open or if opened, did not stay open, and some were missing a screen. The beach was truly just steps away, which made for easy back and forth when we needed something else from the property. We enjoyed the only local restaurant/ice cream shop "Coneheads", but the area could REALLY use another restaurant. We drove into Apalachicola for a nice dinner. Overall, this place was fantastic, and we would definitely stay there again!

Great location, nice property, weather on a cold side in March with water sports requiring full wet suit. Great for our dog as well, friendly neighbors too. Kiteboarding was great off state park, gulf side wind was too low and the water too deep for my skill level comfort. We brought jet ski, but only used it in the state park two days as the weather got windy (good for kiteboarding) and too cold for the kids to enjoy. Overall we loved the spring brake there - hope to return next year but later to have above 70 temperatures,

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Only downside was cleanliness of unit and the linen provided was not clean. Master room bed linen was not clean. When I removed sheets to clean them the mattress cover had yellow stains on it. Towels were also soiled! We did not use other bdrms so I don't know what condition they were in. Had one kitchen towel which had holes in it. Kitchen needs overhaul of cookware. Pans were old and worn. Stove top was filthy. Sofa had quite a bit of wear and was not clean. Computer did not connect to internet but we had our own. Cleaning rental units is an issue as we had this problem before. Doesn't seem like units are inspected by property mgmt company before they are rented.

dining room had only four chairs,needed six. someone had to sit on stool or window sill. Not enough light in living room. old TV, needed special cables to hook up wbox. Two towels, one roll of toilet paper a bathroom chintzy.

We were not the least bit disappointed in the pristine beaches, remoteness and unspoiled beaches of CSB. We loved the location and spacious aspects of our unit.

The King bed in the third floor master needs to be replaced. This is evident immediately upon looking at it- there are two "gullys" that you notice upon entering the room. When the condition of the bed is visually worn out, sleeping on it for a week has a significant impact on the overall relaxation experience of a vacation week. You can Not compromise on the beds especially in the master- this is an investment property.

Similar comments for the large sofa in the living area- too much general wear and tear and over half the seat cushions are extremely compressed.

We did not feel like the above items ( king size bed & large sofa grouping)
we're items to contact the mgmt group regarding (it is not an item that someone can come over to repair) This is why I rated The general conditions as a 2. I would definately stay at these condos again, but not this particular unit. I would say that it was well appointed with kitchen supplies and spacious with great views. We will be returning to the cape next year.

Location,Loacation,Location...this property is everything that you would like to see or have in a beach house. Very minor issues--the screen door on the balcony of the master bedroom was very difficult to open, as well as some of the windows - otherwise a great "home away from home"!

Great location right by the entrance to the state park. Beach and water are beautiful here. Pool was nice, but could use a few repairs (broken tiles, rusty 'pipes' into the pool). The unit itself was nice, enough space for 9 people without getting cramped. Dished only lasted for 1 meal with our large group. No curtains in the top floor BR. Window in 2nd floor king BR was rotten and beginning to fall on the top. One of the blankets in the bunk room had 2 tears and some beige crusty stuff on should have been replaced. A large pile of dog hair from previous renters was swept up on our 2nd day, so I think the cleaners need to do a better job between renters. You only get one washrag and towel per person, so laundry has to be washed every day. There were no washrags for the kitchen. Rental agency and maintenance man were very nice and friendly. The outside shower has no handle on the inside, so don't close the door all the way!!! Our 16 yr old had to rig up a pulley with the fishing tackle we left in there and climb up the wall to hang it over the side and pull the handle up. We were wondering why he was gone so long :) Overall we had a very enjoyable stay, and the issues we had weren't horrible. But, we won't be staying in SeaCliffs again.

Awesome views, welcome dogs, a clean close beach, and a comfortable condo - equals a great all around vacation for the whole family. Could have done without all the people's canopies and junk left out all week cluttering the beach, but those of us bothered by it just moved on down the beach where it was less cluttered. Took a family fun fishing charter with Capt. Charlene at and had a ball with our 12 yr old son. Everyone at Coastal Joe's was helpful from beginning to end. Maybe every detail in the condo was not perfect, but our priorities are always reasonable and they were all met. The rest is just nit picking! It's a weekly rental not the purchase of a long term home. No complaints from us on the mattress - we like a good firm bed. Cell phone service did not work, I advise purchasing a calling card at the drug store to use. The Wi-Fi worked great! We would stay again and love doing it!

To start, we loved our vacation and grew to love this unit. It was fairly dirty when we arrived and had to do some cleaning ourselves, but after 30 minutes of sweeping and mopping, it was much better. The unit needs a few updates: curtains in the master bedroom, newer electronics, get rid of the 1990s PC, some newer cookware, newer beds/bedding, etc., but nothing can take away from the views and the location. The unit is also pet friendly (which explains some of the uncleanliness), which is a big plus.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again at this unit. Coastal Joe was outstanding in their service and response. We had an issue with the wireless service when we were there and they did great work to help us get it resolved. If we don't stay here again, we would still use Coastal Joe for our vacations on the Cape.

  We strive to clean each of our rental homes in a manner that is acceptable to all guests. We appreciate feedback on the cleaning but would also like that feedback to come upon checking in to the home. PLEASE call our office if you arrive to your rental home and feel that the cleaning is not adequate. We will send someone down to check it out and get it right. Reporting the incident once you are home does not help you all relax and enjoy your vacation more and us to help our cleaners to improve by seeing the mistakes they make.

The condo was lovely. Great location! The beds were harder than we would have liked. A toaster would have been nice and a broom with dust pan!(we actually had to purchase a broom and dust pan for the week) Otherwise, the condo fulfilled our needs.

Celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at ASL and loved it. Had celebrated their 48th at ASL as well, and they've already said they want to spend their 51st there.

The only suggestion for improvement I would have offered was to have cleaning materials available for guests, because the frequent trips to the beautiful beach brings a lot of that white sand back into the condo. But we purchased a broom and dustpan for the unit and left it behind so future guests (including us!) can use it next time.

The property is in a great location. Beach was not crowded, short easy route to the beach, beautiful view. The property itself needs some maintenance and attention paid to details, considering it is an older property (15+ years old). Some basic cleaning supplies are needed like 409, Windex, we brought our TP, papertowels, dishsoap, etc as suggested but did not have any general purpose cleaners for clean ups, spills, etc (and with kids that happens) nor did we find a decent broom or dust pan to clean up a broken glass. Also, if you going have a TV in a bedroom, make sure it has a remote and works or it could have been the TV, as it was manufactured in the 80's. Overall, the kids had a great time at the beach, no undertoe or currents (at that time) for parents to worry about, plenty of room, (we liked the two master bed rooms with king beds), and very relaxing and peaceful.

I would recommend this condo. It does need a good cleaning. It has great views of the ocean, but not of the sunsets. Our only complaint is the beds. It felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We had a great time at Cape San Blas, and will be back next year.

The rental property was an older one but quite comfortable. It was a reasonable cost. The internet was not working when we got there (unfortunately I still needed to stay in touch with work while on vacation) but this was sorted out expeditiously by the property manager. The Coastal Joe management team sorted out every concern I had and it turned out to be a wonderful vacation.

Selling point of this rental is the views. If you want fantastic unobstructed views of dolphins on the coast this is the one for you. Minor maintenance, window cleaning issues -- so what?? enjoy what you came for. The beach. Would love to see a BBQ, even downstairs under the unit.Our fourth rental in the area over the last year and the second time in Seacliffs. Enjoyed the rental and complex.
