  If you want a comfortable place to stay, with a quiet beach and only a few other people nearby, this home is perfect. The open living/kitchen area was great for having friends over for dinner; nice to have guest bath downstairs. Exactly as pictured; very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

  My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Tailwinds. The house size was perfect for us and we enjoyed cooking shrimp alfredo etc. together in the large kitchen. Just a few steps to the beach across the subdivision road. We were there during tropical storm Debby and we could see the 8ft waves. It was fun. The Woods

  my only complaint would be the coffee pot was very slow and I personally prefer lounge chairs(or recliners) instead of couches.

  House was more than just nice. Large, roomy, the 3 1/2 baths were convenient. Access to beach was across the street (no one I talked to could tell me where the access was). I took my own beach towels, but washed 3 loads of towels every day. I haven't figured out why I was charged a $50 linen fee (in addition to the cleaning fee)for 1 bath towel per guest. I also had to buy kitchen towels and pot holders, as there were none furnished for the kitchen. Over all the place was great. My cell phone had no signal, so I was thankful for the internet.

  Property is a little worn, not bad. Good beds, nice bath and Kitchen, great location, very quiet. Right price for the property. Grill was disgusting - needs to be replaced.

  Enjoyed our stay in the property. Location was nice and private. Barbecue grill needs replacing - had to have the rental company come out and fix it so that we could use it. Had no hot water in lower level of house, but having washer and dryer was very useful. Kitchen nice and big and had many bathrooms. Overall the property was nice and we would go back again.

    The grill has been replaced so this is no longer an issue. Hot water heater elements have been replaced as well so this is resoved.

  Our stay was relaxing, fun, and we'll be back! The place was perfect in terms of location between Apalachicola and Port St. Joe. Almost have your own private beach and the yard is well suited for privacy also. Best view is from master upstairs! The view makes a cup of coffee or a glass of wine even better. Only two complaints- need to clean carpets and replace grill. Burners on grill were not strong and knobs mostly worn out.

  Great Views of the Oceans saw some dolphins from the balcony, not the greatest location spot to get items such as food and other items about a 20min drive to the closest store. But overall Would stay their again! Everything worked out smoothly! Thanks Mary!

  If you want to enjoy the beach WITH your dog, this is the place. Cape San Blas is a pet friendly community with miles of beach you and your dog will love.

  Only problem was a an upstairs leak which appeared to be repaired while I was there. Also, the refrigerator makes a tremendous clanging sound when the motor stops. But, it kept the food cold and that its purpose so I guess its OK.

  My family had a truly wonderful exeperience at Tailwinds Cape San Blas.
  The whole experience was wonderful due to great service and communcation from Coastal Joe Vacation. The house was superb with plenty of room and character. The views were breathtaking of the ocean and I never forget the wonderful times our family enejoyed just relaxing in the house and then walking over to the beach.
  The excellent house matched the excellent service form Coastal Joe Vacations. It was a pleasure to find excllent service with the customer being the number one prioty.

• The kitchen could have had a few more supplies, better cutting knives, pizza cutter & kitchen towels. Also more bath towels. The downstairs bath ceiling leaked and the carpeting needed to be shampooed and the cobwebs needed to be swept down.

  There was not a dustpan in the home. Some lightbulbs were blown or missing but no replacements available in the house. The kitchen lacked a few needed items such as a a large metal, slotted spoon, and a large, gallon size pitcher. We were missing an outside trash can to put garbage in. We were told that the sanitation department would bring one out, but they didn't. We ended up getting one ourselves. The rental company did take care of bringing us an empty can later.
  The kitchen had two coffee pots but one was missing the filter basket. We were disappointed about the distance we had to travel to get to the beach access road. We didn't like driving the golf cart down a busy public road.
  Other than this, the house was nice. We've stayed here three times before and always enjoy it. It's beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There is a nice view of the beach. The kitchen is very large, bathrooms are very nice. It is great to have a new gas grill, screened in porch and upstairs balcony and fish cleaning sink and hot/cold shower downstairs. Super nice place. We will come again.
