We always enjoy our time at La Bella Vita. Coastal Joe Vacation Rental is top notch and always attentive. Great house and great location.

This house was exactly what our family of 7 was looking for! The house was great with lots of room for everyone. The screened porch was fantastic for meals and the master deck had a stunning view of the ocean! Since the properties to the left of the home are undeveloped it limits the congestion at the beach which we appreciated. The walk to the beach is short and not a problem at all. The pool was a great addition to the stay as well. The downside to the pool was that is was pretty warm and without an umbrella it could get a little intense during the day so we didn't use it quite as much as I'd anticipated. The amenities in the house were as described and as you'd expect in a rental home. I would suggest buying/bringing plastic cups as all cups were glass so I didn't like the idea of bringing them out to the pool area. :) The cleaning station was much appreciated as my husband caught fish for us to eat everyday so that was a treat!

The home is very close to both the Trading Post and Scallop Cove which was lovely! Scallop Cove has great donuts that they make to order and we highly recommend them! Coneheads was a favorite spot for ice cream and their food was fantastic as well!

Cape San Blas itself is by far and away our favorite place to vacation and this home may have just become our new favorite place to stay!

We had a great time! The house was furnished nicely and the deco was beachy which set the mood. The house was very clean also! The beach was great and the water was warm. We loved that you could set up your tent whenever you wanted to on the beach. We also loved that you could make a fire on the beach at night so we had s’mores on the beach, that was great! The places to eat around the Villa were great! Plus the Trading Post had all of the groceries we needed for our entire stay.

We rent this same unit every year. We love this house. It is always clean and updated. Will stay here many more years.

Wonderful stay in an absolutely beautiful home! Very clean! Rooms were very spacious! The lift worked perfectly and was very helpful. It wasn’t a bad walk to the beach at all! Beautiful property all around! Great views from all decks.

WE had an Awesome time! The property was exactly as described and exceed our expectations. The House was clean and beautiful and was well equipped with everything we needed. The people at Coastal Joe were great to deal with. Any questions we had while we were, there were answered quickly. We have already told our family and friends what a great place it was.
but since we would love to come back again, we may not tell everyone, hahaha
We treated this place like our own and tried to care for it in the same manor that the owners obviously care for this beautiful property.
While we were there it was quiet and we enjoyed being close to the beach but still back enough to enjoy some privacy. The balconies and sunsets were amazing! And the Pool was a perfect addition to our stay.

Overall a very good vacation spot. Had some difficulty with TVs but maintenance person showed up same day we reported it and was quite nice and efficient. Could use a new mattress in king bedroom...pretty lumpy and makes lots of noise when getting in and out of bed.

We spent our fall break enjoying the wonderful beach at the Cape. We have stayed in this house before and love the location and convenience of it. Our only complaint would be the beds, not the mattress but the box springs in the downstairs bedroom, every time you move they squeak and are loud, we also found this bedroom to be really warm compared to the other parts of the house.

For the third year in a row, we spent a week at La Bella Vita. Can't beat the location - near a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Home maintenance could be improved.

My favorite thing about this house is the thoughtful storage. The bathrooms and kitchen have plenty of hooks and shelving. The house is clean and has plenty of seating. The beds are comfortable. The walk to the beach is an easy walk. The location of the house is great. Easy walk to Cape Trading Post and Scallop Cove General Store. The only issue we had was with the outdoor lift. The remote was not included in our pickup package. After many phone calls to the office and after hours numbers, we gave up and carried all our stuff up the 3 levels of stairs. Finally got ahold of the office on Monday and they delivered the remote. It was very handy when it was time to leave. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend La Bella Vita.

Property had everything we needed. The refrigerator was a Maytag that made a ton of ice. Never had to run to the store to get extra. Short walk to the beach and 1/4 mile to the store. I would stay here again.

Beautiful beach house with plenty of room for our group of 7. It’s a very short walk to a quiet beach. Great views of the gulf and the bay. We ate our meals out on the screened in balcony every day. The only complaint I have is that the mattresses are uncomfortable and very noisy. I would stay here again.

This was our first vacation to Cape San Blas and we absolutly loved it!! The house was amazing and everything about it was just amazing!! Our family had the best Vacation on the cape and we will be back!!

House was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Meals were enjoyed outside on the screened in porch with ocean view. Kids loved the pool and the super close walk to the beach. We had a fantastic week.

The house is beautiful and everything looks new. Very short walk to the beach and it’s own private pool made this the perfect vacation get away. It’s has a screened in porch with beautiful views of the ocean that we had dinner or breakfast at throughout the week. Cargo lift made carrying things in and out of the house so much easier! Highly recommend.

Lovely house; great location. Something (probably the router mounted in the laundry room) shorted out, tripped the circuit breaker & sent smoke into the kitchen. Had to leave the breaker off, due to it continuing to smoke & smell as something was burning. Therefore we lost most power on main floor. This was during tornado warnings also. Called management & they did offer to let us spend the rest of the night somewhere else. Said they would try to get an electrician out in the morning. Since it was after midnight & we were experiencing Hurricane Sally’s effects, we opted not to try to find the other place offered in the dark & pounding wind & rain. During another tornado warning, we discovered we didn’t have water anymore. Tried to call management, but all 3 #’s went straight to voicemail. Left messages with each number, asking them to return call. No one did. Waited till 8 a.m. & called office & left message. Told them we were leaving because we had no water now in addition to the other problem. Got a TEXT an hour later while we were driving home, telling the electrician would be there. They obviously never listened to any of the messages because they didn’t know we had gone. These things were out of their control, but their customer service was POOR. The house could have caught on fire. They never called to check on us & apparently turned their phones off because they went directly to voicemail- all 3 of the emergency #’s! It’s would have been a nice thing for them to have reached out with a phone call instead of a text. Would like to revisit the area, but won’t rent through them again. There are other rental companies.

This house and Cape San Blas were everything they said it would be and more. The home was clean and comfortable and just steps away from the almost secluded white sandy beach. The pool was an added bonus for the grandkids. The views from the decks were amazing. You had a gulf view on one side and bay view on the other. The area itself was laid back and so relaxing but there was still so much to do and anything you needed was available.
My family will absolutely be visiting this house and using Coastal Joes again in the future.

This was our first time to visit CSB and must say that it was amazing. La Bella Vita was perfect for our family and in a perfect location. We enjoyed a beautiful beach and breathtaking sunsets. It was actually a closer walk to the beach than we anticipated. The house was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with items needed to prepare our meals. We loved having the table on the screened porch to enjoy our meals together. The kids really enjoyed having our own pool where they could splash and play. The only maintenance issues we encountered during our stay we reported to the rental company. We were able to make do without the icemaker and the disposal on the sink so it was not that big of a deal for us. The interactions we had with Coastal Joe was very pleasant. I had several emails with Brittany and she was very nice. We definitely loved our stay at this house and look forward to hopefully being able to stay in it again in the future.

As usual our Coastal Joe Family came through for us again!! our home was great our stay was picture perfect as requested. We had so much fun spending time with our family, meeting new neighbors and relaxing.... How many Rental Agencies can order abundant sunshine for great vacations? La Bella Vita is a comfortable home with a super easy walk to the beach. Private pool is a nice bonus. Only major issue with the property is the lack of deck furniture and pool furniture...most importantly additional high chairs on the upper deck for sunset viewing. Home currently only has 2 chairs on upper deck.

What a great House to bring Family to from 3 different locations. We had 5 adults and 2 kids for a weeks stay the first week of June and it could not have worked out better.Super location with great view of beach and close to everything on the Cape.The house is perfect for families with everything you need well maintained and spacious.Having a pool is a major plus we did morning and evenings at the beach with relaxing at the pool in between. I would very much recommend this property to everyone considering a stay on the cape.

It's in a great location, within walking distance to The Trading Post and only a few steps from the beach and offers everything you could ask for while on vacation. The property management company is very easy to work with and responsive when needed.

As always Coastal Joe's took extremely great care in making sure our yearly vacation to the Cape was superb!! We are always treated as family and talked to on a first name basis. Caitlin Mary and Scott and all the staff are always attentive to our needs. We have always booked with Coastal Joe's for the past ten years for this very reason. My husband and I, along with our children and grandchildren, stayed for a week in this house. We had a great vacation! Cape San Blas is our favorite destination. We loved the location of the house and the layout worked great for us. It was comfortably decorated and we loved the screened in porch. We’re already talking about coming back to this house next year!

La Bella Vita is a first tier home but the walk to the beach was so short it felt like beachside and we even had a great view of the water. We really enjoyed the pool, it was very nice and clean and private.

We are repeat guests at La Bella Vita and are planning to come back again next year. The house is perfect for us and we absolutely love our week in paradise. The property is clean and well maintained. We always cover the white living room furniture with old sheets to protect it from my dogs' black hair. We can highly recommend this property

Great beach weather for 3 days. Home was immaculate and very comfortable. Great sunset views.

2 couples along with dogs had ample room for a relaxing stay on the Cape. My Mother has bad knees and was able to stay on the main floor bedroom, while the rest of us stayed in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The house was clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a plus when coming in from the beach, and especially before jumping into the beautiful pool.

The overall stay was great, the only complaint were the beds. The two beds upstairs were very uncomfortable and you could not turn over with out them making a loud sound. Could have been a little cleaner.

Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay at La Bella Vita. The only. Only complaint was the dryer took forever to dry clothes. I didn't report it so I really don't have room to complain. Other than that it was a perfect week!

The layout of this house was nice for our family of seven. Proximity to the beach was a plus. The decks had nice views. We put up our portable canopy by the pool to give us some shade. We brought our own Weber kettle grill for grilling. The instructions for placement of trash bins and collection dates were confusing and conflicting.

What a beautiful home! Perfect for 3 couples, a 1 year old, and an energetic lab that loves to swim. (Just remember your baby gates for stair areas.) We sunbathed, swam, fished (enjoyed fresh stuffed flounder for dinner one night), crabbed, built sandcastles, found many shells, and took long relaxing walks along the beach. The sunsets were absolutely amazing and the water was crystal clear. If you like barbecue, make sure you eat at the restaurant down the road. It was great. We did not want to return home -where traffic is bumper to bumper and the beaches are so crowded! Hope to make plans for next year soon. Thank you!!!

This was our fourth time at La Bella Vita...and it won't be our last!! The home perfectly accommodates our family, and it felt like home from the first time we were at Cape San Blas. From our point of view CSB is an ideal spot for relaxing. This year we had more reasons to celebrate our family. The beautiful Gulf beach was the setting for a wedding ceremony. It was a perfect in every way time for us.
We love the casual atmosphere of the Cape with its glorious sunsets. The fresh seafood, especially the shrimp and oysters, are something we look forward to. An oyster roast is usually part of our week. It's a short drive to Apalachicola to buy a bushel of the freshest oysters imaginable.
I know we'll be back again next summer for a week of rest and renewal.

Only wished it could have lasted longer!! Beautiful home made our stay comfortable and a place where we created treasured memories. The home was better than I expected, the location so close to the beach as well as both shops (plus donuts!), the interior beautifully appointed without being fussy, perfect for our family with 3 college aged "kids". The management co came thru for us big time when I realized we had miscommunicated about our departure date and found us another house to move into and they were very flexible about making it all work effortlessly (as much as is poss in such a situation!) for us!! Highly recommend this home and Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals! We Will be Back ASAP!!!

House is as described. No unpleasant surprises. Very clean and well-equipped. First visit to Cape in October; last 4 years I visited in April. For those who are unaware (I was) the Sandspurs are crazy bad from about September through March, per the locals. The Sandspurs are burrs that get into your dog's paws and fur and are hard to remove along with being painful. My 2 Border Collies would pretty much freeze in their tracks after getting them in their paws, waiting for me to dig them out. Don't let your dogs in the grass during this time. Nothing to do with the house but something to consider when planning a visit.

We love La Bella Vita and Cape San Blas. Our stay is always magnificent and we love the location and proximity to the beach. This is our home away from home every year!!

La Bella Vita (The Good Life). Life was really good for my family while staying in this beautiful beach home. They all loved the house and we plan on returning in the future.

After a few hectic weeks of work leading up to our vacation, it was really nice to just relax and unwind during our week stay here. Place was very clean, great view of the ocean from both screen porch and upper deck, and just a short two minute walk to the beach. Weather was fantastic, and beach as always clean and white. Only problem we had was cell service, but was told installation of a cell tower is expected in the fall, so future cell phone problems should be reduced. We will definitely come back to this place next year.

The house was fantastic. Great location. The outside shower was awesome. The the rental company was great. Our last night there, the downstairs AC stopped working about 8:30 in the evening. The repair got was there at 10:00 pm and had it up and running again! Great service! Will definitely be back!

La Bella Vita really exceeds our expectation. We had everything that we need and more. The kids describe our stay as " the best vacation ever" and would definitely come back..Cape San Blas is definitely Florida's hidden gem and I hope that it will stay that way... We have stayed at La Bella Vita for the past 5 years - we love this home and everything about it!! It's size, location and center locale to everything our family needs while we vacation in the Cape. The staff has always ben gracious to us and worked with us on any of our needs. We look forward to our annual Cape San Blas tropical paradise!! Coastal Joe's is the best!!!

Great to have the hot tub to relax in when the weather turned a little.
Overall an excellent property which was great for our family getaway. And a great base for out adventures into Apalachicola, Indian Pass, St George Island and Port St Joe and Mexico Beach.

We had an excellent time! they house was beautiful and clean. They only thing that I would change is this...Maybe they could build steps off the back so folks wouldn't have to walk all the way around every time they wanted to go to the beach. Also, whoever rented before us did not clean the dishes. I was very thirsty when we arrived and I grabbed a glass and got some water. It seemed as if I had just drank straight from the ocean. I'm not sure where they took the dishes but, I assure you, they did not make sure they were clean. I know when you have a dishwasher you must rinse them before you put them in. They must not have. We found several dirty. Everything else was amazing!Oh, We was told they had a crock pot and there was not one. No big deal. We will defiantly be back! We feel in love with the Cape on our first visit and hope to visit every year!

Wow, this house exceeded our expectations. Very spacious. I generally like to see pictures of bathrooms before I book but I was assured they were nice and a good size and they were. The house is just a very short walk to the beautiful beach and down the road from the state park where we dropped our boat several times during our stay. The kitchen was so open - perfect for 6 people or more! Loved all the porches (front for a beach view and back for the bay view). I do think the mattress on the second floor (bedroom facing the bay) needs replacing and the washing machine needs looking at as it sounded like a large plane taking off during the spin cycle. Knew we would have limited bath towels but thought they would be a bit larger. Glad we brought some of our own. We had a few minor repairs that Coastal Joe took care of immediately. Loved the house and would definitely rent again. Thank you.

This is a very nice house and very close to the beach. I have walked farther when I stayed in a house that was beach side. It was great!

La Bella Vita was the perfect spot for our family Christmas. We could see yhe beach from the porch and it was just a short walk
away. There was quite enough space and the furnishings were beautiful. There were plenty of pots and pans for cooking meals. Once the hot tub warmed up, it was terrific. Be sure to start warming it up as soon as you check in because it takes a few days to get to the max temp. Some of thd beds were very creaky, but not uncomfortable. We would definitely stay there again!!

Coastal Joes were professional and very helpful - although a Florida native, now living in Atlanta, I had not heard of the Cape. WOW! This is our future regular destination, we choose Sept for quieter crowds and a bit cooler weather. It was a perfect relaxing week. A lot of activites to choose from, great food and beautiful shoreline.

SNORKLE TRIP AT ST. JOE BAY WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR WEEK! AWESOME FIRST TIMERS FINDING LIVE CRITTERS IN THE WATER. YEEHAW!

Very easy and hospitable. Only complaint was not as clean (floors and carpet mainly) as would have liked but is a beachhouse afterall. Great space for 6 adults! Beautiful beach, easy access. Would stay there yearly! Loved the area!

Staff was courteous. Minor repairs were handled rapidly. Wireless router controls TV and Internet. When it does work, reception is spotty. Don't try to watch more than one tv at a time. Lastly, ther is no excuse for the pet stains. Just take the carpet out! We had a great time, but we got really tired of wearing our shoes in the house.

Upon arriving to the Cape we met the staff at Coastal Joes - impeciable in every way. It was by far the easiest check in and best management experience i have ever had with a rental agency - walk in - get your keys on your on your way to your beautiful vacation on the Beach! The house was more than we had imagined and was decorated to perfection. the location to the beach was perfect!! Thanks to Mary and the staff at Coastal Joes we had a wonderful family vacation!! We will be back to La Bella Vita next year for our week on the Cape!!

We first experienced La Bella Vita and Cape San Blas last year. It was love at first visit. We vowed that this would be our family's tradition going forward. So, this is our second visit, and it is still just the ticket for our group. This year we discovered a couple of new restaurants, and were oyster gluttons. Can't beat those fresh Apalachicola treasures. The only negative I've experienced is the lack of towels. A small bath towel, wash cloth, and hand towel per person just doesn't seem adequate. There was only one kitchen towel. We knew from last year to bring our own, so we were okay. $60 for linen service seems steep when you have to bring your own. That is really a minor annoyance and the only complaint I have had.

My family and I vacationed here for a week in June and loved it! Great floor plan! Big kitchen! Everyone has their own balcony! The hot tub is a great addition. The people at Coastal Joe really go above and beyond! I would recommend this rental and definitely Coastal Joe Properties to anyone. We will be back in the fall!

We have vacationed at Cape San Blas for the last 10 years. This was our third visit since last June, and everything was perfect! We have stayed in smaller and larger homes, and La Bella Vita is our favorite. It was the perfect size,layout, and location for our family of 5 and our 2 friends that visited. We recently stayed at this house and loved it! This house is a first tier home, meaning it is one row of houses away from the Gulf - probably 50-60 steps from beach access walkway. The place was decorated very nicely and it has all the emnit

We had a great stay at La Bella Vita. One issue we had was dealing with the television in the main room (it didn't always work, and when it did, the picture was bad). There were also times when we had no hot water for no apparent reason. And there were lots of little bugs inside the house, especially near the bottom entrance. So I would definitely have someone look into replacing the television in the living room, repairing (or turning up) the hot water heater, and taking care of the bug problem. All in all, these were not major issues and didn't have much of an impact on our vacation. We really enjoyed the view from the master bedroom deck, and the beach in front of the house was great (and very close). We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is in an excellent location with beautiful views. It is well decorated, good size bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. The kitchen is a very generous size.

The kitchen is a great size for multiple people to work in! We had a few issues though. There was no frying pan. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans but lacked a frying pan. My husband went down to the Trading Post and bought one, but we felt like frying pans are a standard in kitchens. There were a brand new set of knives though! The oven takes FOREVER to heat up! Of course this is not the rental agency or the owners fault, it is just more of a heads up for future renters.

The furniture in the family room is nice to look at but everybody in our family agreed that it is very uncomfortable. I don't have back problems and never have but my back hurt constantly after sitting on the couch or in the chairs.

The dining room table and the outside patio table were very nice and a good size for a large family.

The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my parents so that they did not have to go up an extra set of steps, but the t.v. only worked half of our stay. I called on Sunday and told the rental agency about it not working and I was told they would have to call the cable company, which I completely understood. My problem came up though, when a few days later I had to call back the rental agency because I never got an update on what was going on. Communication could have been better, I know the agency cannot call and tell me the exact time the cable company would be there but I would have appreciated a call saying they had contacted the cable company and was given an estimated time and day for service. Also the downstairs bedroom has an area of carpet missing right at the door, it looks like somebody locked their dog in that room and the dog pulled up the carpet, no big deal except for the fact that there are finishing nails sticking

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in La Bella Vita. There is not one thing I can complain about. The house was perfect for our family. The staff at Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals are very courteous and speedy with requests....Definitely a repeat customer for this property. Hope to see you in a year... or sooner.

What a wonderful treat it was for our family to spend a week at this lovely beach destination! We took a gazebo/tent to put up on the beach which enabled us to get out of the July proved to be a good investment. The house was perfect for our family configuration. We enjoyed some great seafood - roasting Apalachacola oysters outside on the grill was fun and delish! Fresh grouper and shrimp were great. The kitchen was well equiped and large enough for many cooks at one time. We made a couple of excursions to Port St. Joe and to Apalachacola to explore the shops and enjoy seafood cooked by someone else. We especially liked 'That Place off 98' in Apalachacola. If you like oyster stew,you must try theirs. Everything is homemade and really good. I would suggest that you might want to tuck in a few extra bath towels since only one per person for the whole week is provided. There is a washer/dryer, but I'd rather not have to do those kind of chores on vacation. The only other thing that might be considered by the owners is providing either a dresser or chest of drawers for the queen bedroom and twin bedroom area. There is no drawer space in those rooms. The big plus for us was that our doggies could go with us. They loved walking on the beach! Cape San Blas is pet friendly, but we found that people were very careful to keep their pets under control - all four legged kids seemed well behaved! We're planning on La Bella Vita and Cape San Blas being our yearly tradition. Hope you'll let us come back many, many times. (Oh, and granddaughters were thrilled with the shells they easily found on the beach)

Me and my family had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, comfortable, and spacious and we felt like we were at home. The location is perfect. I loved watching the sunsets from the upstairs balcony. We ate every meal at the very nice Teak table on the balcony downstairs.
I loved that the beaches were NOT crowded at all. Me and my family do plan to come back for our next vacation.
The only thing that I would complain about, and this DID NOT take away from our vacation, is the fact there aren't any sharp knives in the house and the pots and pans were not very good at all. We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except for one and it just made cooking a little hard when there's not good pans to use and no sharp knives.
Also, I would highly recommend Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals!!
