Beach House on the Moon was the perfect place for our family to get away from it all. The house is huge and the views of the gulf are incredible! We could even see the bay from the kitchen window. The furniture was comfy, sensible, and kid friendly :) Everything we needed to make this house our home for a week was provided. The people at Coastal Joe's were awesome. We only had to call them once but within 10 minutes they were there to fix the problem. Bon fires on the beach, play dates on the sand, and nights of being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the gulf = perfect family vacation!

We had a great time and loved the house, the only thing we wished was that the 2 full beds were queens or larger. The banisters were disgusting and appeared to have never been cleaned, they are clean now!

The balconies on this house were awesome, the only issue is if the owners of the empty lot ever decide to build a house, you won't be able to see the beach. Until then enjoy them!

We felt safe until we encountered police activity next door and found out that stuff was stolen from a car and then found out that we had stuff stolen from our car as well. It was unfortunate that we left the car unlocked for anyone to open and take what they wanted.

Cannot wait to go back!!

Very nice house; mixture of older eclectic and antique furnishings do not lend themselves to a top-tier rental property. Some beds and sleeper sofa needed repairs before they could be used.

This is was our 4th year to stay in Cape San Blas and the 2nd year at Beach House on the Moon. The property is at a great location close to the BP and beach. However the house needs some updating. Furniture in living area and bedrooms needs replaced. The TV's need updated. The cable and internet services are not acceptable. With these changes you would have a super nice rental house. The house and the vacation were wonderful. Our only complaints were that it was not very clean. It was little things that we were able to clean up fairly quickly though. To be fair when we turned in our keys at the end of our stay we were told we could have called and they would have sent someone over to clean it up right away. Overall though, we all had an absolutely fantastic stay. We had beautiful weather all week and we all got to enjoy being together.

This house was perfect for our vacation. We had 6 adults and 2 kids with plenty of space. Kitchen was well stocked, location was perfect & quiet. The beach was so beautiful, no sign of oil. The grocery / gas station located across the street came in handy a lot! I would rec. staying at The Beach House on the Moon!

The house is quite beautiful, in a great location. We loved the multi level decks with great ocean views (there was an open lot ocean front so our view wasn't obstructed). Our only complaint was the ice machines (both fridge and independent machine) weren't working and they were never fixed while we were there. This was our first time in this area and we will definitely be back!

  The ice machine on the fridge was repaired once the part came in that was needed to repair it.
