Second visit to Sunset Traditions. Once again it was wonderful...great house and location. Nice fenced yard for our dog. The house has EVERYTHING....fully furnished kitchen, beach chairs and wagons, etc.

Sunset Traditions far exceeded our expectations. My aunt came to visit from South Africa and we wanted to show her our favorite place, Cape San Blas. We were all bowled over when we arrived. The house gave us plenty of room to spread out. The location is fantastic. Technically it’s first tier, but you feel like you are gulf front because there are no houses in front of it. The boardwalk is right in front of the house. The pool and the hot tub were very much enjoyed. The bed swing on the lower level was such a relaxing spot...We wished there was one on every level! The staff at Costa Joe was a pleasure to work with. We had a couple of small issues and a wonderful gentleman came promptly and resolved what he could right away and assured us the pool guy would be there the next day to address a small issue with the hot tub. My aunt said it was hands down the nicest vacation she’s ever had. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Traditions and Cape San Blas. This is our bi-annual trip for the family of 18 of us and the house worked out perfectly. Great location! We loved how close it was to the beach - 300 steps! I counted them! The kitchen was very well equipped, but it would have been nice to have some basic spices. One negative thing I would say is that the bathrooms on the middle floor are very small for the intended number of guests. Just be aware. The pool was great! Kids loved it. View is spectacular. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool table was fun. (Sleeper sofa mattress in basement needs to be replaced.) A fabulous week!!!

We have been vacationing at Cape San Blas for the past 12 years and our recent stay at Sunset Traditions (4/28-5/6/23) was the best beach retreat home that we have stayed thus far. This lovely home is spacious and beautifully furnished with stunning views of the Gulf, great decks on the second and third floors and a fantastic pool and spa with a large fenced yard that is great for the pups. The spacious bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and quality bed linens and towels with large bathrooms. Nice pool table room with extra full size refrigerator and TV viewing area. Ice Maker machine with bar area next to kitchen. Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals (Brittany) was very helpful and responsive to any questions. The spectacular beach is a 5 minute walk across the street down the boardwalk into the sand! We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Traditions immensely and we have already reserved our beach retreat there for next May 2024!

We had a blast! Everything went well except for being so cold first half of the week! The pool was a it went cold on us since we didn’t know to add water when the flow stopped to keep it heated. It was a bummer the hot tub wasn’t working and needed a part to be fixed. If we had known that prior than the night before leaving, we could have picked up the part here in Greenville and had it fixed while we were there. Location and view of the ocean was great.

For the second year in a row we have stayed at this wonderful home (and hope to stay next yr) Sunset Traditions offers everything you can imagine in a rental home ~ it's just like home away from home with all of its amenities. It's well maintained and the upgrades throughout the home were beautiful this year...from the painted kitchen to the bathrooms being redone, it was perfect !! This home is the perfect size for our large family and offers ample room for all to enjoy eachother as well as little quiet retreats. From the gamroom to the second "den" area, theres plenty of room to spread out as well as gather together. The pool and hot tub are a hit with my famity also. Just another added convenience to the property !! Everything is well maintained and clean and confortable. The folks at Coastal Joe are just as friendly and helpful as they can be too. We had a TV go out and they were there the same day to fix it. Can't ask for anything better than that. I would def recommend this little slice of paradise to anyone who is looking to rent. We cant wait to return !!

Only a couple of issues with this house for our stay 4/2022...dishwasher needs attention-does not clean well. Pool heat was said to be on - pool was unusable due to the cold pool\spa water. On the positive side - this house offers ample room to accommodate most families. Elevator was a huge plus for groceries & luggage. Ample cookware and utensils. House was generally clean. The house is across the road and 1 tier in - currently you are essentially gulf front with a full beach view and very short walk from the beach - really just a few more steps than the houses right on the beach. Coastal Joe was a pleasure to deal with - no issues. I would recommend this house and Coastal Joe.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home ~ it was perfect for our family and we've already booked it for next year. The walk to the beach was easy and the pool was a huge hit !! All the amenities were like being at home...Might recommend some new pots and pans, but that's because we cooked every night due to COVID. Some folks probably eat out and would not notice they are a little worn, but that's a little thing. There was PLENTY of room for all of us plus extra !! Next year we'll be bringing more family. We can't wait to be back at this little slice of Heaven.

Our family enjoyed staying at Sunset Traditions. The grandchildren loved the pool and beach toys. The grandparents were overjoyed with the elevator! Views of the beach were great for first tier. We made great use of the 3 refrigerators and the ice machine was awesome! We appreciated the chairs and cart to haul everything to the beach which, by the way, was a very easy straight walk on trek decking ... cool and no splinters! Beds are firm and comfortable and the house was very clean. We definitely recommend this rental.

Our family had a great stay at Sunset Traditions. Boardwalk to the beach (very short walk) was essentially at the corner of the yard. Even though the house is a block back from the beach, the views from the upper decks are gorgeous and unobstructed. Pool and hot tub were nice when we didn’t feel like being covered in sand. Pool was plenty warm in early-mid May. Tons of beach toys, chairs, and wagon in the garage were a nice amenity we didn’t expect. Gated community and seemed to be very safe. State park at end of cape is absolutely worth the parking fee. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back!

We had a lovely time in this rental. The bedrooms were clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook.
The walk to the beach was easy.
The only thing is that there was no Internet while there. Some of us brought work with us and absence of Internet made it impossible. Also the elevator never worked and the flights of stairs got real tough for this senior citizen.
But all in all it was a great week.
We will rent this home again.

The house has a great open layout in the living area with beautiful views of the sunsets and the layout of guest rooms on the second floor allows for room to be away from the group, even if you have guests. This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The weather in CSB was awesome, which allowed us to use the pool and hot tub. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. It was a treat to have 3 separate living spaces - main living room on the 3rd fl, a smaller living room on the second and another on the first floor with a pool table. There was plenty of space for us to spread out. Great house!!

My family has stayed here three times now and I'm sure we'll be back for more! This house is in a perfect location with the beach so close. We tend to go back and forth from the beach and pool a lot and love the proximity. The house is very large with room for our whole family and has everything you'd need for your stay. There are some needed updates though- some items like towel hooks or toilet paper holders are falling out and need replaced. And several of the door knobs fell off of the patio doors. Anytime we've needed maintenance, they have always been very quick to come out and fix the issue. Nancy is always great to work with and we appreciated the extra COVID cleaning they did. Thanks for another great visit at the cape - we'll be back!

This year we had 11 family members and 2 fur babies vacationing together. There was more than enough room for all of us, especially if you are looking for a quiet moment alone! The home is well stocked with everything you need from beach gear to kitchen gear. My favorite amenities are the ice maker and the wine fridge. The dogs’ favorite amenity is the elevator!! This trip is the highlight of our year being able to share this awesome home with our family and will continue to come here every year!

Wonderful home and location.
One suggestion would be to not charge for heating the hot tub. I can understand $150 to heat the pool which we did not want to do. But the hot tub was on a manual dial and just heated as needed as apposed to all week long 24 hours a day.
Another suggestion would be to have a back up propane tank ready to go when the tank runs out mid-bbq. This is a service we provide for our vacation home guests and they really appreciate it. Nothing worse than half cooked chicken to finish off in the oven.
Other than these minor issues we loved our stay in this gorgeous home, the walk to the beach was easy and the owners provide 2 sand wagons, lots of chairs, and lots of sand toys which were enjoyed by all. THANK YOU!!!

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoy staying at Sunset Traditions. The generous floor plan allows for large groups with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have a great time. Sunset couldn’t be a better home but the extras of this home (wine cooler, elevator, multiple refrigerators, ice maker, pool and beach equipment, etc.) really make it special.
The boardwalk to the beach is only a few steps away for fun in the sun and the views are gorgeous!

I grew up going to Cape San Blas every summer with my family. We all have special memories of this beautiful beach and so it was the perfect place to plan a vacation for all of us. Sunset Traditions was the perfect house for us! From the many living spaces for people to hang out, the private pool, the comfy beds, well appointed kitchen to the multiple decks with amazing views of the Gulf, this house did not disappoint! Our favorite thing to do was to watch the sun sink into the ocean then watch all the stars come out. We saw some the best sunsets we have ever seen right from the upstairs porch. The sky was so clear at night that we could see the Milky Way! Every member of my extended family had a wonderful time and before we left we were talking about our next trip to stay in this fabulous property!

Rented many houses over the years, this one was perfect. Location was great. Kind of felt like you were on your on private beach. We would come back again.

Once again Sunset Traditions and the Cape proved to be a home away from home. This was our second year in a row to use this home as our family vacation spot. The house and property was spotless, well-maintained and we had absolutely no issues. Their is plenty of room for our clan of 15 with room to spare. The room for small children off the master suite is perfect for our situation. The pool table, game room and ping pong table are a huge hit with all ages. The owner is very, very nice and answered all our questions very promptly and Coastal Joe is on top of things. I have recommended this house and the area to several friends and family. We have already booked for next year.

Beautiful home, perfect location, lots of space for multi-family and multi-generational vacation. Property management and owner were great to work with, and very responsive to questions or concerns. We have been doing beach rentals for many years, and this was by far the best house and overall experience. We loved the large kitchen, pantry, and fridge. Kids loved the pool table and pool. Adults spent lots of time on the top deck watching the waves. Just a few steps to the beach. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

This was our first venture to Cape San Blas and the first family vacation with 15 people total. Hours were spent looking for the right location with the proper accomodations. I finally settled on Sunset Traditions after several emails with the owner(who is very gracious and accommodating) to answer questions about the area and the particulars of the house. My family's response when we walked in the house was WOW, this is awesome and were just as enamored by the end of the week. Many hours were spent playing pool in the evenings, swimming in the pool, lounging in the hot tub and eating and playing games around the dining room table. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, the master bedroom and bathroom are amazing! The bonus nursery/kids room off the master bedroom was a perfect fit for our littles. The house is located right beside the boardwalk and is a short walk to the beach. Coastal Joe was a pleasure to work with and very prompt to answer questions and resolve issues. The first night there everyone decided to make this a yearly event at this location. We have already booked for next year.

It was a beautiful house with beautiful weather. We had an amazing honeymoon/family vacation!!!

We stayed at the sunset traditions home and it was a very nice place to stay. Close proximity to the beach with great views. We had friends in 4 other houses in the neighborhood and ours was the favorite. The hot tub was used every night and the pool table room was a favorite with our kids and their friends as well as the adults. We had a small issue with one of the AC units and it was handled immediently and professionally. We are looking forward to coming back!!!

The house was just as described and the elevator really helped in getting our stuff to the 2nd and 3rd floors. It is a short walk to the beach juast as described. The house was clean and very good condition. The owner e-mailed us to verify we were happy with the house on the 3rd day of our trip. Coastal Joe was super good to work with. The only issue we had was with the wi-fi and the tv's. The wi-fi and tv signal would freeze up repeatedly each day. Called and Coastal Joe sent a repairman the next day and he worked on it for hours and thought it was repaired. 30 minutes after he left it failed again. This was a pretty big issue for a huge football fan in October. This is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating instead of a 5.

Everything from booking, paying, checking and checkout were smooth and without incident. Coastal Joe has been a pleasure to work with.

We had 7 adults and 2 children stay and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. We loved spending time in the hot tub and pool and the extra money to have it heated was well worth it since we had some cooler weather. Great beach view and nice short boardwalk to beach. Kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We had a baby with us and were pleasantly surprised to find toys and high chair. The small room off the master bedroom was wonderful for the baby to sleep nearby.

This is our second time staying at Sunset Traditions and we had a great time. The ocean views are fantastic and the house is beautiful and very well maintained. We also thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool! Thanks for sharing your home with us. I'm sure we'll be back.

We rented Sunset Traditions for a "mini" family reunion - there were 13 of us. We had a fantastic week! The house was big enough to fit us comfortably - we could have used another bathroom or two - because of all the females in the house, but with the laid-back lifestyle of Cape San Blas, it was fine! Coastal Joe's was a dream to do business with - from the day we put down our deposit to the day we checked out. We had an issue with the A/C on the second level. They responded writhin an hour of me calling. They even came back the next day to check on it without us contacting them. We cannot wait to come back again!!

We've rented this house in the past and love the layout for our extended family. This year the new owners added tv's to each bedroom, a new queen size bed on the 2nd floor and converted the office to a 5th bedroom with a double bed as well as new decorations throughout the house and we loved it all! We're already rebooked for next year too! Thank you for all the hard work and we look forward to the next stages on the house! And as always, thank you to all at Coastal Joe for going above and beyond for us!! :)

The only draw back that I saw was the TV in the Master Bedroom didnt connect with the cable. I called Monday morning- the tech came out Tuesday but the TV burned out - it shut off and we smelled something hot. Since this happened late Friday, my husband just unplugged it and we told the office when we checked out on Saturday. Overall we had a great time. The house was really nice. Thanks again

In July 2014, we had 12 adults and 3 children at Ocasas Belos/Sunset Traditions. The house was lovely, and gorgeous views of the water from the 2nd and 3rd floor decks (which were large and well furnished). The living room space was bigger than it looks in the photos, and the pool was so nice to have. A very short walk to the beach, with the boardwalk directly across from the house. The elevator was nice so we did not have to haul luggage and groceries up stairs (and for us lazy bones who did not want to walk the stairs otherwise). A great house for groups.

Outside shower was very useful and one of the nicest we have seen. I think that everyone in the family would say this is the nicest house that we have stayed on the Cape.

The location of the house was awesome... right by the boardwalk to the beach and the views were breathtaking. The furnitre was high class and we loved everything about the house! Especially loved the private pool, and our 5 year old really enjoyed the smaller pool/hot tub attached to the regular pool. We loved everything about this house!

We were disappointed with many aspects of the vacation home we rented. There was a house being built right next door, of course within feet of the pool. Banging and pounding started at 7am every morning, and the 1 day we tried to use the pool we had construction roofers hanging over our pool in a crane. When we arrived at 2am on Sunday morning there was water dripping through the ceiling in the King bedroom on the 2nd floor (bed & carpet were soaked) apparently the cleaning people did not shut the master bedroom's whirlpool tub's faucet off tightly and it flooded to the 2nd floor (not a great welcome after a 19 hour drive). The 3rd floor air conditioning did not work so on Monday we had a maintenance crew show up at 8am while everyone was asleep to fix the air conditioning (of course access was through the master bath, meaning up and out the door without a shower)They did not finish until 4:00. The wireless internet did not work most of the week, someone came out to try and fix it but it never worked well. The house is a beautiful home but in need of some major love and attention. Very sad to see a gorgeous home so run down. The location of the home is unbeatable, and thankfully we are an outside family so the poor condition of the home did not ruin our trip. The people @ Coastal Joe's were very nice and accommodating, trying to take care of all the issues that came up.

We vacation with two neighborhood families so had 6 adults, 4 teenagers, 4 children and 5 dogs but we didn't feel cramped. The house has a fantastic location and the fenced yard was definitely helpful with the dogs. Our only disappointments were that the wine cooler and ice machine were not working (and seemed to have been that way for a while) and the table and chairs on the 3rd floor deck were literally about to collapse. Hopefully those items will get repaired soon as we are interested in renting Ocasas Belos for spring break next year.

Had a wonderful time, beautiful house needs some repairs and restocking but Coastal Joe and the owner got the house stocked up within 2 days. We were there for a month and it was a great home with perfect sunset views.
