We stayed at this vacation home for a family Christmas vacation including 8 adults and 4 children under the age of 3. It was perfect. The home is beautiful and sits right on the beach. You couldn't possibly get closer to the sand and waves! There was plenty of room for all of us, the kitchen was well stocked, the home was spotlessly clean, the furniture was comfortable... We especially loved the screened in porch and deck - great outdoor spaces. We were thrilled with the house and had a wonderful vacation!
TROUBLE W/ T.V. AND WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION. CLEANING SERVICE NEEDS TO CLEAN MILDEW FROM THE POCKET DOOR AND VANITY CABINETS IN MASTER BATH BECAUSE OF EXCESSIVE STEAM FROM SHOWER.
We enjoyed our stay on cape San Blas as usual. Jubilee has a lot of stairs. It was problematic for older guests and for the toddlers In our party. There also was not a bath with a tub for the the youngests. The location of the house is beautiful. My favorite window was in the master shower! BeUtiful view of the gulf.
overall, the house wasgreat. very clean upon arrival, great mattresses, kitchen was very well equipped. there could be a larger supply of towels supplied, and NOT at an additional charge. It would have been nice to have at least one bathtub, and a dune walkover from the house to the beach.
The house was beautiful. We especially liked the screened in porch. Their was a cool breeze blowing all the time. On our first night, we had a fire in the gas fireplace on the porch it was awesome! We watched the dolphins swimming about 50 yards from the beach almost everyday. This house was truly amazing. Loved everything about it. Their was one minor problem. The two recliners in the living area needs to be replaced. Both chairs had really big tears down the middle. Overall I'd still give this house an A+.
Very nice house. Great location. Would like to have known there were no bathtubs in the house-all showers. That makes it hard to bathe little ones. Window shades in the living/dining area would be nice when preparing dinner. Enjoyed our stay!
We've just returned from a 6 wk stay at Jubilee. This was our 2nd time to book this property. We love this house for so many reasons! Jubilee's floorplan is fabulous. We love the large great room, it opens to the kitchen and dining area making it a wonderful space for friends and family to gather and enjoy the best of beach life. There's never a feeling of too much togetherness at Jubilee, we especially appreciate the privacy between the master bdrm and guest bdrms and they have the most comfortable bedding of any property we've ever stayed. Another favorite area is the screened porch off the kitchen, it runs the entire width of the house and gets the best cross breezes from the bay and gulf, the best spot for enjoying the wrap-around water views. The gas grill area is on the screened porch - NICE - has an extra burner, the perfect place to cook a shrimp boil. The outdoor furniture on the screened porch is super cushiony and comfy, a sectional seating group which creates even more living and napping areas. We visited during July of 2009 and the beach was never crowded, our most recent stay was October/November 2010. Fall Season is now our favorite time to visit, the monarch butterflies migrate through the area - another awesome sight! Jubilee sits on a stretch of Cape San Blas where the homes are on 100' lots so there's lotsa room between you & neighboring houses. Everyone talks about the fabulous sunsets which are so beautiful, we also enjoyed watching the sun rise over the bay each morning and the moon rising over the bay in the evening is AMAZING. This property allows you to enjoy it all as there's nothing blocking your water views in any direction. The house has 3 levels so lotsa stairs and worth every step. We had a wonderful experience with the staff of Coastal Joe's, they're like so many of the locals, warm and friendly and willing to help. There's great local restaurants, a few of our favorites: Indian Pass Raw Bar!, Joe Mama's Pi
Coastal Joe was so easy to work with! The Jubilee House was absolutely beautiful and the location was awesome! We had a few problems when we arrived at the house, ex. drain clogged, cable not working BUT I called Coastal Joe and they were fixed the same day!! I would recommend Coastal Joe to all of my family and friends, they were GREAT! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
This is our home away from home! I do wish the owners would figure out how to use the fireplaces and leave some notes - it would have been nice.
This was our 9th year going to the Cape and it was another great trip. We endured the tropical storm, Claudette but it was still great to be there. Jubilee is a wonderful, beautiful home. Great views, great space, lovely decor. The outside porch was our favorite thing. Aside from just a few issues (satellite didn't cooperate, leaks from the storm, cleaning crew didn't do a great job prior to arrival) everything was wonderful. The staff at Coastal Joe was very accomodating and calming during the storm. They were there to answer any questions we had. Such a great house, it is absolutely beautiful!!! My kids loved it, we loved it, best house we've stayed in by far. Our cell phones even worked everywhere in the house! Would definitely stay there again, no doubt! Will probably book it for next year. Would love to own this place!!!
The house was ideal for a family vacation, with the water about 70 yards from the house with nothing obstructing our view of thew water. The beach was outstanding with sand as white and soft as snow! The water was clear and warm just perfect for our enjoyment. While the house had a number of excellent amenities, some were not easy to use (main room satellite took awhile to figure out; the outdoor grill had one setting, "HI"; the master bedroom satellite TV never did work; the master bedroom bathroom shower attachment was abused and took some wiggling to get it operational). But would I rent this house again - DEFINITELY! It was a fantastic, relaxing vacation location.
Overall we had an excellent vacation and the property lived upto expectations. Just one or two minor points:1. There was a shortage of coffee cups ( only 6 for 10 people which was inconvenient as there were no other cups provided) 2. The trash bin was full when we arrived and was not scheduled to be picked up till Wed. After a couple of calls to the Property Manager he did take care of this but it seems like the trash should be empty , not full, on arrival. 3. The ice maker in the fridge did not work. 4. The toaster worked only on 1 side and needs replacing. As I said, relatively minor issues, but correction will improve satisfation greatly.
Very nice house. Awesome location. Beach is awesome - few people, dog friendly, driftwood fires at night. House is very upscale. Screened porch very nice. Westward facing for awesome sunsets.
Fantastic view - very nicely decorated - comfortable beds - well equipped kitchen (bring your own knives if you love to cook, but that would be true with ANY rental house) Porch is niceset that I have ever been to. Plan to rent the same house next year.
My husband and I were taken back to our early days on Sanibel/Calptiva. Everyone loved the area and the home was lovely and thoughtfullly furnished - the management charming and accomodating. The charm of old Florida has not disappeared. We ho
