Had a great week, did not want it to end. The house was lovely, the only thing we wished it had was an elevator for us old folks.
This was one of the most relaxing family vacations ever! During the day we enjoyed kayaking and fishing in the bay, lounging out by the pool, and playing with our dogs at the beach. The sunsets are amazing from the Eagle's nest and everyone really enjoyed the bonfire on the beach. We will definitely be returning to Dune Fine!
Love the location and the home. Helpful to have the heated pool as it was cold the week we were there. The home is well stocked and the donut/ice cream at the trading post was great...within walking distance. very nice and quiet beaches!
Overall the property was just as we were told it would be. A little disappointed by the large amount of dog hair. Appeared to be blonde about two inches long. A retreiver I would think. When furnace came on there was door hair eveywhere. We swept everyday for two weeks before getting on top of it. We had to buy Windex to clean the windows so we could see out. Except for these two minor things, we would go back. Nice place. Great views. Very quiet.
We stayed at Dune Fine for a weekend stay over MLK Weekend. The weather was too cool to spend any quality time on the beach, but we did have an opportunity to walk along the beautiful Cape San Blas beach and venture in Apalachicola. The house sits in a cul de sac behind a row of beach front houses, but getting onto the beach is a simple as walking across the cul de sac and along the wooden walkway to the beach. The views from the numerous decks at the house are breathtaking. Overall, the house was a wonderful place to stay and very clean upon our arrival. It was also nice that sheets and towels were provided because not all places provide. With a private pool onsite, this is a great place to come back to for a weeklong stay during the summer. Both the owner and management company were wonderful.
Dune Fine is perfectly located, with excellent views of both the Gulf and the bay. It's just a short boardwalk to the beautiful, sugar sand beach. There's plenty of room to hang out together in the kitchen/living room area or at the picnic table on the deck. And, there's plenty of locations to get some quiet time, with the 2 levels of wrap-around decks and the crows nest top floor. Dune Fine is close to the Trading Post, so it's easy to grab food and sundries in case you don't want to make a drive to town. It only took about 20-25 minutes to drive to Port St. Joe, where there are many fine restaurant choices. We stayed with our beagles in the pre-winter off-season, and it seemed like we had the beach to our selves. Such a peaceful, restful energy Cape San Blas has. Both the owners and Coastal Joe were very helpful and welcoming, thank you!

My group stayed at Dune Fine for a long weekend in October. The weather was great. We had the best time. The house has a wonderful location for sunset watching and getting to the beach was just a short walk away. Our only complaint was the steps to the kitchen/den on the third floor, but we excused this with the fact that we could eat dessert because we walked them! The house was just beautiful and very comfortable for our party of six. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Loved the location and the house was very nice. I was surprised by all the steps....would have been difficult for elderly or handicapped person. I think that would be a good item to include in the description of the property. Otherwise, it was a great place!!!! We had a wonderful time. The pool was fantastic and the view of the ocean from the deck was fabulous. The bay was so close. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. It was a wonderful vacation. Just what we needed!!
Our family had a WONDERFUL time. We stayed at this same home in July of 2011 and within 3 days of our arrival home we booked again for August of 2012. The 4th floor balconies, pool, easy access to both beach & bay, pet friendly beach and house .... and not to forget the large & beautiful home......everything was just as we remembered it from last year. We'll definately be back for a 3rd time. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. The only draw back I could see for some families are the steps. There's a bunch to get from the ground floor, up 2 levels with loads of groceries to the kitchen. It wasn't a problem for us though, we have 3 teenage sons. But it could be a problem for some.

2011 marked the 3rd year in a row we have vacationed at the Dune Fine. Fits our extended family of 7 perfectly! A private pool is a MUST for us, and the Dune Fine meets that requirement. We plan to vacation here as long as it remains available!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Dune Fine. We were so close to the bay and to the beach. Having a bay boat, we could not have asked for a better more convenient place to have vacationed. There was ample room to park the boat at the house and maneuver it around. The pool was a great added benefit when we did not want to go down to the beach. I would highly recommend Dune Fine.
We had a great time! The crow's nest is not suitable for a fourth bedroom however,since there is only a sleeper couch and no bathroom.The children's room is also very small. We had 11 people, 5 kids and 6 adults. The optimum number for the beds would be 8, 4 kids and 4 adults. The house is a wonderful house, we just found it uncomfortable for the size of our family. The kids loved the pool!
Dune Fine was a great find! By far one of the nicest pools in the area. I would not recommend this house if you don't like a little exercise--40 steps to climb to get to the kitchen! (A little exercise is good for you!) Overall this property was better than we had expected. Coastal Joes check-in and check-out was easy and I would definitely recommend this property to a friend!
We rented Dune Fine at the last minute for a quick spring break trip with our puppy. It was a wonderful house. It is much closer to the beach than the pictures convey. We loved sitting on the decks off the crow's nest room and watching the sunrise over the bay and then the sunset over the gulf.
The house was amazing and the location was perfect. Our vacation with Coastal Joe surpassed all of our expectations - we would definitely use the company again.
