This house and location were perfect for us. We wanted a great pool with a lot of sun exposure in a spacious house on/very near the beach and we found it! A great bonus for this house is that there is a bathroom & shower accessible right by the pool. No more climbing a flight of stairs and dripping water everywhere! We loved that our toughest decision every morning was "Should we go to the beach, or stay here at the pool?" We wanted to do nothing but relax and enjoy the sun, surf & sand, and that is exactly what we got! It was hard to leave, and as we drove away we were already talking about "next time...." We'll be back! :-)
We've been to the Cape for the last 4 years and have always stayed in houses in the Seagrass subdivision. Sunsational was the nicest house we've stayed in. The kid's bunk room was a perfect setup and the kitchen was great. Thanks for making this beautiful home available to rent.
This home lived up to our greatest expectations- and then some. It is perfectly suited for a large family group and many, many thoughtful details were included. It's location in the Cape San Blas community was great for a safe, relaxed family vacation. The home was ready on time and was in outstanding condition. Many thanks to the owners and to the crew and staff of Coastal Joe. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The pictures given online give you a general picture of the home. However, when we took our initial tour of the house, we were more than pleasantly surprised to find that it was a lot more spacious than we had expected. We had a group of 12 and everyone slept comfortably. The beach is beautiful and spacious for everyone in the neighborhood to have their own area. No worries of being crowded on the beach at all. The house isn't on the beach, but that wasn't a requirement for us. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great home in a great area.
We've been to Cape San Blas multiple times over the past years and always look for a home with a pool near the beach. Sunsational exceeded our expectations and is our new favorite on the Cape. The house was open, immaculate and stocked perfectly for every possible need. The pool area and deck were especially nice and provided a great space for us and our dogs to enjoy the great weather and grab some shade when needed. The only negative is really directed at other tenants - please pick up after your dogs even in the front yard.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunsational. The house is beautiful and very well cared for. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. It is very clean with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is just a short walk to the beach and from looking at other houses along Cape San Blas, I think it's one of the best locations as well. We will definitely stay in Sunsational again when we come back.
Well stocked kitchen. Great appliances. Clean home, plenty of room for everyone. Pool was refreshing after a long day at the beach. Beds were very comfortable, linens were very nice. Could not ask for a nicer home to get away to. The owners did a very nice job decorating. The only thing I would have different in the home is I would change the bunk beds and put in two double beds, or two queens, the room is large enough to handle either. But believe me there is plenty of room for everyone in your party.
Sunsational was a wonderful place for family members from several states to spend time and catch up before attending a memorable beach wedding. It was spacious, quiet, clean. I will definately return.
Great place for a family of 14, Mom and Dad, Kids and grandkids. We had a wonderful time.
Nice house, plenty of room, great amenities! HD channels did not work? Further walk to beach than expected, especially with 5 young children. Gas grill in poor condition; Weber worked just fine. Water was crystal clear, scalloped in the bay, NO signs of any oil! Really laid back beach community, Loved the Cape! Great oysters right off the boat @ 13 mile rd (Wards)
Wonderful house, amenities, and the best of the four other houses we've stayed in at Seagrass. The bunkbeds would have served our purposes better if they had been on the ground floor with the game room for the teens. That is minor compared to the awesome time we had at this location.
Accomodations were great! Wonderful view to the Cape and the Bay and all the modern conveniences. Our only caveat were the beds; terribly hard and uncomfortable, which we brought to the realtor's attention to pass along to the owners. Otherwise, a GREAT stay that we'll keep in our memories from the Cape!!
All uncomfortable beds have had mattress toppers placed on top of them and feel great now!
We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back to Cape San Blas. The home was very spacious and there were plenty of kitchen supplies. The home seemed clean overall but the carpet on the stairs needed cleaning and the outside of the home needed cleaned up a bit (cigarette butts, etc.).
The carpets have all had a deep cleaning and the stains in the area mentioned above are gone.
Fantastic vacation - truly a beautiful house. A few suggestions - the number of towels were inadequate. The mattress in the master bedroom (third floor) was obviously of inferior quality, and not the sort of mattress I expected in such a beautiful home. The gas grill container was empty - I would suggest also keeping a charcoal grill there. The pool light does not work. Other than those items, all of which are relatively minor, the house was incredible, and my family and I can't wait to go back. A great experience!!!
Coastal Joe provides one set of towels for every occupant that the house sleeps. This is stated in the Pre-Arrival Packet that you receive prior to your arrival. You may rent more towels if needed. Just let our office know. The mattress in the master bedroom has been replaced. If you should run out of propane during your stay please just get it replaced and Coastal Joe will reimburse you for the purchase.
If you're looking for excitement and thing to do, then Cape San Blas is not for you. But if you're looking for a nice, quite and relaxing place then it's the place for you. We couldn't wait to get there, we didn't want to leave and we can't wait to go back. Our best vacation ever.
