After having a busy and stressful year, Sea Casa was a perfect place to destress. We would highly recommend Sea Casa to any one looking for a lay back kind of vacation. The beach house had every thing you could want: a home away from home. The beach was awesome as where the sunrises and sunsets! We would certainly go back.

This is the second year we stayed at Sea Casa, and chose this house because we so enjoyed it last year! The house is just what we need, and is close to all that we want to do. If it's available next year, we will definitely want to rent it again.
Our stay at Sea Casa was excellent and much too short! Springer Spaniel Layla really enjoyed chasing sandpipers on the beach and splashing in the ocean. The weather and accommodations could not have been better. We'll be back for more next Spring.
the house lay-out is very user friendly. would love a landing between levels of steps. furniture was very comfortable, not too old, just the couch pillows needed washing from previous renters with black haired dog. Cleaning was fine, but hair from previous dog was still around in places (baseboards, under edges of floor rugs). distance from beach and access to beach are very workable. will be back
We arrived at the home on a Monday afternoon. With us was our 10 month old Rottweller and our 11 yr old Grandson. From the moment we got out of the truck it was a great experience. The location was great. We was looking for something that was slightly secluded from the big town uproar. This was it!!!! Everything was great.
Hello - we had a wonderful experience at Sea Casa, although the condition of the house wasn't quite as nice as we would expect - minor repairs to sliding door, kitchen cabinets and drawer handles needed to be replaced, and the DVD player wasn't working. We called & maintenance repaired things pretty quickly, but the property might need a little TLC on some minor things to keep it nice. We loved the location and would definitely come back. One other suggestion - because so many people come to Cape San Blas with dogs, you might want to include the local vets on your "local numbers" listing at each property. Unfortunately, we lost a dog to illness while on vacation but knew that Port St. Joe Animal Hospital was close by, and they took great care of our dog. You might want to include their name & phone number under handy numbers for guests in case others need vet care while on vacation. Thanks for everything - we'll be back!
My husband and I, as well as Toby and Lucy (our 4 legged kids) had the time of our lives!! The house was so much better than I even thought. The pictures do NO justice! We will definitely be back in the future. The only bad part of the entire trip was leaving. We had to say goodbye, but told ourselves, it wasn't forever :) The 9 1/2 hour drive was well worth it and can't wait to get back.
Great location, great house, great people!! Everyone in the Cape is so friendly and our dogs loved the water too! I want to go back every year!!!
My wife Jane and I just spent our second summer vacation in Sea Casa and our third on Cape San Blas. We had a great time. We like the quiet, family atmosphere that we find. We like that there are no jet skis roaring up and down. We bring our two beach-loving shih tzu dogs with us, and the four of us go back and forth between Sea Casa and the beach for two weeks. The house is cute and well-sized for us. It's off the beach, so you miss a little of the nightime activities that go on, but it's very close and quiet and we can stroll back up the beach around 8:15 or so and enjoy the sunsets. We like the one-car garage, which keeps the car much cleaner and shielded from the beach climate. If we go to the beach again in 2012, we will hope to include Sea Casa in our plans.
Very short walk to beach even with 2 kids and lots of things in tote! Loved being so close to the Tradin' Post- we walked there every day for bait. Loved the enclosed garage/basement to keep car, jog stroller, cooler and floats. This was a great vacation for our family of four just to enjoy a beautiful beach and make wonderful memories!
This was the second time I came to Sea Casa. My stay was lovely. The weather was sunny, low humidity and clear blue skies. Perfect! I love Cape San Blas for a vacation that takes you away from crowds and commercialization. The area is great for road cycling! The house was clean and had a decent view, although not beachfront. My only suggestion is a very mild one, the place needs an updated cable channel guide!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying in Cape San Blas. Our rental home (Sea Casa) was beautiful and I would definatley stay here again. The beach was beautiful--It hasd the whitest sand and the bluest water I have ever seen.
We really enjoyed the Sea Casa. I am so happy to have found a clean, restful place that is welcoming of my dog. It has been a dream of mine for a long time to take my dog to the beach. This was so much easier than I ever wouldve thought. The house itself was great-lots of room and light and a huge kitchen. We were sad leaving, but plan on returning as soon as possible. My dog Navin had the time of his life. THANKS!
This was the first trip to Cape San Blas for my husband and me. We fell in love with the Cape! Sometimes rental properties aren't as wonderful as pictured. This property was even better than the photos!! It was clean, decorated beautifully, and was just right for us. We especially enjoyed eating on the screened porch. It was great to be able to take our dog to the beach for the first time! We wouldn't change anything about the rental property or our time in Cape San Blas. We WILL be back!!
As soon as we arrived, we felt very welcome and at home. Sea Casa is situated on a quite street, and offered a lot of privacy. The rooms were beautifully decorated with color and light, and very well equipped with kitchen utensils and cookware. Even though we had picked a month with unusually warm weather, the beach would have been great anytime, and in our opinion, is the best on the Gulf! The area is filled with history, nature trails, State Parks, and just the right amount of shops and restaurants. We made many new beach friends during our daily walks. The best testimonial for Sea Casa is that we decided to come back next year. Thanks to our hosts for a very enjoyable vacation.

We had a fabulous time. Thanks to Scott for putting together a last minute stay for us. Property is one street off the beach. Short walk to beach (1 minute if that). Loved the space in the house. Great neighbors while we were there. LOVED IT! We already booked our next trip!!!
This is a great house, especially for two people who like to surf fish, cook for themselves, and hang out in lovely open space. The furniture is comfortable and colorful, and the open floor plan is very amenable to cooking and conversation. We will definitely book this house again when we visit the Cape!
What a great little gem. Had a very relaxing week. Did not have the pets but would love to return with them. Missed having a sharp knife for those local tomatoes and a dish cloth for hand washing the dishes. The bedrooms & bathrooms could stand some new flooring and wallpaper removal but otherwise could not have asked for better value for money.
We really enjoyed out stay at Sea Casa. It was very airy and open with a great screened porch and deck for star gazing at night. Just a short, easy walk to the beach!! We'll definitely be back!!
Checking in and out was very easy. The property was clean and comfortable. The location was great- it was very close to the beach. Gulf front would have been great, but this was the next best thing. The pots and pans were better than most rentals. I love to cook so this is important to me. There was not remote for the DVD player, so we had trouble using it- but we weren't really there to watch TV anyway. Also, you can not actually see the beach from the house. Overall, lovely place. We intend to return.
ceiling fans in bedrooms made noise at all speeds. Some people are light sleepers and the noise was irritating.
Sea Casa, is lovely. It has two bedrooms each on separate sides of the house providing privacy should you stay with another couple. It also has a very nice porch, perfectly situated to catch sea breezes and look out to the ocean. The house is nicely decorated, very clean, and equipped with all necessary items. And, one key feature for us was that the owners allow you to bring your dog--- ours enjoyed the deck immensely. Great place if you want to experience the beauty and non-commercial atmosphere of Cape San Blas.
We overall had a wonderful & relaxing time at Sea Casa. My husband & I came with our 2 dogs (a chocolate lab and a springer spaniel). The beaches of Cape San Blas were very similar to the beaches in the Tampa Bay area, but definitely much more quiet. The dogs had a great time running & playing on the beach! The kitchen was fully equipped, & you don't really need to bring much to supplement as far as tools/gadgets. The Sea Casa is very nicely decorated & comfortable. We will definitely visit again. Only a few things that I would like to point out for others planning on visiting: 1. If you are traveling with pets that might be picky as to where they "chose" to do their business, there aren't a lot of grassy areas around (we had this problem with our lab, but she finally adjusted) 2. There are minimal places to eat in the area & the grocery store is about 20 minutes away, so plan accordingly 3. There is definitely a problem with the satelite/cable in the unit. For the most part it worked, but it wasn't 100% reliable. 4. Our cell phones did work in the unit (we have AT&T service), but the strength of the signal was generally poor in the entire area Just FYI! Overall we all (including the dogs) loved our relaxing vacation!!! Thank you!!
Although it wasn't exactly beachfront, the house was wonderful and very close to the beach. The living room and kitchen are very open and wonderful. I would stay there again!
There was difficulty with the TV stations in all rooms, but it was only a minor setback. we didn't come to watch TV anyway. overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would return.
I really enjoyed my week at the Sea Casa. Cape San Blas is beautiful. The rental was clean and well maintained and had easy beach access. My stay was in May and the weather was perfect. This is a great area for cycling as well (which I wanted). For a quiet vacation, truly away from it all, go to Cape San Blas!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Casa. It is a charming beach house on the Cape. We especially liked the open living area with the cheery and comfortable furniture, the long bar, and the well-appointed kitchen. The screen porch is a hit; it is a very relaxing area where we enjoyed listening to the surf. We also appreciated the fact that the living area is all on one floor. The property is very well maintained and the owners are very conscientious in ensuring this. It is a very short walk to the Gulf and the beautiful beach area.
Arrived anticipating watching the college football bowl games and the primary TV was not working causing us to drive into PSJ to watch a game. Brian responded next day and got the tv working, but some of the features on the TV did not work and these were problems were not fixed during the week of our stay hampering our college bowl watching experience. Sea Casa was clean, organized and a good location. We will definitely revisit.
