We have stayed in the Sea Grass edition many times, and in the Sensational house twice. This time there was an issue with the house, and Coastal Joes bent over backwards to to make it right. They ended up moving us to another house while they fixed the problem. Can't say enough about the staff and their customer service.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunsational. The pictures are not accurate with regards to the flooring, there is no longer any carpet. The walk was very easy to get to the beach and the house had extra beach wagons to use as needed. We did visit in October and unfortunately the pool was a bit too cold to swim. It isn't heated and doesn't see a lot of sun. Not a big issue for us though and there was a community pool on the way to the beach that we could have used if we wanted. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Coastal Joe's!

We absolutely LOVED Sunsational. The kitchen had everything you would ever need. Beach chairs were awesome. Bike rentals delivered to the house was amazing. Coastal Joe was very friendly & helpful. Will definitely rent again. Thank you Cape

Overall house was fine for the trip. Seems work had recently been done so some sweep up of saw dust, etc required. NO current instructions regarding electronics and all but one remote did not have batteries. Front door lock uncooperative. Provided towels and sheets were in fair condition. Kitchen was well equipped and gas grill worked well.

Had a wonderful stay. Loved the house, hated the stairs ( my fault, not theirs, but there is a lot if you have problems with stairs). Fully furnished kitchen ( does have crockpots, and other extras) lots of extra chairs and beach carts, beach toys for kids and floats for the pool !!!! Yes the carpet and old and stained ( they are going to replace, but this is also a dog friendly rental so that may be why too) Pool was great, and clean !

The house was great. Large family area & kitchen. Plenty of extra room to spread out & have some quite time when needed. The only down side was the stairs. The house needs an elevator. But we will rent it again if available next year.

We have been coming to the cape for over 30 years. What started out as a group of about 11 family members has grown to over 30. We are now spread out into about 4 houses. Sunsational was a perfect house for me, my wife 3 kids and their spouses and 2 grandkids. The amenities were great. The place is clean, although the carpet could be updated. The air stopped working one day (not frozen up, I have been here enough to avoid doing that again) they were out the next day to fix it. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our 4th trip to CSB area. Sunsational is in a great location and the house met the needs of our group of 14 (3 different families - 6 adults, 8 kids). Short walk to the beach, short walk/bike ride to restaurants/shopping. The house was mostly clean - we did end up swiffering the cobwebs from the upper corners of the main living space and kitchen ourselves (there were bugs trapped in them) and we cleaned out and organized the garage before we left, also. We only received one working key to the house. Placed a non-emergent call on Sunday, but never received a call back the entire week. We ended up having to leave a door unlocked in case one of the families came back separately or went off on their own. Truly minor details. Not a deal-breaker.
All in all, it was a great trip. House and pool met our needs and would rent the house again and would rent again through Coastal Joe.

I have stayed in this house on two previous occasions and loved it then, but that was approximately 10 years ago. First let me say it is in a great location and has a great floor plan. That being said the house needs serious attention. The carpet is awful and full of stains and it is really hard to see past that. I never counted but not sure how many towels and wash cloths we got but it was the bare minimum but that isn't a deal breaker just kind of annoying. I loved this house when we stayed there before but will not stay here again until it has been updated (new carpet).

The Graves Gang had a wonderful time in the Sunsational rental. This is the 3rd time we have stayed in the Sea Grass community and we absolutely love the community environment. We only had one issues with the rental and that was the pool. It was green the whole week and the issues never got resolved by the pool company. However, we enjoyed the community pool very much but the twins where a little disappointed they couldn't step out the back door and jump in but we managed. Thanks and we look forward to renting again from Costal Joe's. B Mitchell Graves.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, well supplied home with everything you need for a great vacation. The rental company, Coastal Joe, was outstanding. They gave us all info we needed up front and responded immediately with a few minor needs. I was impressed with them and would certainly rent with them again.

Had a beautiful week of peace and relaxation; great location on the Cape, could walk miles in either direction on the beaches, close to the fresh donut trailer at Trading Post, great setup in house - downstairs bedroom is like its own suite, verandas with views in all directions; very sad to see so much hurricane devastation but the beaches and this house remain beautiful; management was very responsive to our 2 requests - Caitlin had to reschedule our housing due to some flooding, but arranged the change to our advantage, and a plumbing issue was resolved within 2 hours of our call (when I’m sure their staff was very busy with bigger hurricane repairs!)

This was a wonderful vacation for our three generation family, including a family pet! It was more than we anticipated. From taking walks on the beach, campfires on the beach at night and lounging by/in the pool by day all added up to a great time. The big table seating all ten of us was truly a bonus as we all took turns cooking meals, including the grandchildren, plus games played afterward. After polling my family, we could not come up with anything negative about our rental. Kudos to the owners for sharing such a great place!

This was our 3rd stay at Sunsational so we knew what to expect and looked forward to our trip. The weather was wonderful, the location is great, and we have no complaints there. However, there were some things about the house itself that were disappointing such as a broken ice dispenser and semi-reliable ice maker in the freezer; a LOT of dust and animal hair under the living room furniture (which we cleaned up ourselves), and 57 pans in the kitchen but no hot pads/oven mitts (which we discovered when we needed to pull something HOT out of the oven). Also, I found a huge cockroach in the master bedroom near the utility closet during our stay and on our last morning we found another on the kitchen floor. I realize bugs and Florida go hand in hand, but we had never seen cockroaches in the house during our other stays. And most disturbing to me was the amount of metal trash and sharp objects found in the pool area. I stepped on a rusty broken nail one day; found a utility knife/tool near the bushes, and picked up multiple other sharp objects (like rusty staples) during our week there. Overall the house was clean and as we expected, but some of these other things really surprised us.

Property complete in most respects, even extra grill gas bottles. Expected kitchen utensils but no starter of necessary supplies like dishwasher soap, paper towels/trash bags etc. Notice of this would have been appreciated. Lots of kids toys/games but beds all caved in toward middle. Icemaker made ice but did not dispense. Video system(s) beyond complicated. No phone signal and internet almost nonexistent. Maintenance issues like slow tub drain, broken railings and a/c overflow not draining and finding no bed linen for lower bedroom were corrected within 24 hours of notice provided. All in all, good experience, short walk to beach and reasonable value.

The 2 houses we rented for our church's college group Spring Break trip were phenomenal! The students loved all the many rooms and house layouts. It was very conveniently located close to the beach as well!

Awesome house. Only improvement would be to provide a starter of some essentials - such as a roll of paper towels, small dish soap and a tablet of soap for the dishwasher. Kitchen had lots of cooking utensils, bowls, pots and pans but not a single spice. It is a fantastic house and will definitely stay there again.

This house was just what we needed. Plenty of room for a large family. We enjoyed our stay at Sunsational.

A beautiful home. Well equipped. Some of the bikes have been replaced with new bikes and they also had new beach chairs and a beach cart. The house was arrange so that you did not feel you were in each other's space. Really enjoyed the pool especially the grandchildren. Would be nice if there was an easier access to the beach in walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped but it would be nice if they had a couple of shrimp deveiners. Coastal Joe management was very nice. We actually did not have to interact with them during our stay except to check-in and check-out.

Sunsational is a great place! A nice, short walk to the neighborhood beach access. Great porches for outdoor enjoyment and a perfect small pool. The description mentions beach cart and chairs etc. The chairs were in really bad shape as was the cart so we used none of it, thankfully, our group brought our own. We did notice a new beach cart had been delivered in the box as we were leaving. The kitchen is fantastic and bedrooms are large. Plenty of stocked items for cooking and cleaning. We had a great time! We loved the quiet and plenty of space on the beach, so unlike other beach towns.

Our large family had a wonderful time at this very spacious house. We had 3 young children, grandparents, and sisters with their spouses, everyone had more than enough room. The pool was great and I noticed it was one of the better shaded pools in the community. I do have two complaints, the beach cart is broken, so that made lugging our stuff to the beach very difficult. Also, the upstairs bathrooms were not very clean. I would also suggest the owners update the pictures of sunsational. Definitely bring your own beach chairs, there were only two that worked and bring your own bikes. Overall, I loved the space and my family had an enjoyable time.

The home was very nice, but it should not be advertised as sleeps 16. Sleeper sofa on lower floor needs to be replaced. My 22 y/o decided to sleep on air mattress since it was more comfortable than the sleeper sofa. The pool was very nice. It is a long walk to beach hauling all your beach stuff. The house was advertised with a beach cart, the cart was broken. This was our third trip to Cape San Blas.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. House was spacious and with our large family group, we really enjoyed the large kitchen and two dining tables. Also really enjoyed the pool and the large patio area surrounding it. Only suggestion for improvement is that some of the furniture seems to be outdated. Definitely really could use some new comfortable porch furniture. We loved the beautiful soft white sandy beach. It was, however, a long distance from the house.

Sunsational in a great property! The lay out of the house was perfect for our extended family Spring Break vacation. The house is very well equipped with all you will need to enjoy time together with a large clan. They even had some beach supplies like a few beach chairs, a few toys and bikes. Some bikes were not in working order and most had succumb to the effects of the salty sea air. The lounge chairs around the pool were great, although the pool was very cold. It would have been nice to have it warmed up a little :-). Towards the end of our stay a heavy duty beach cart was delivered which was much appreciated. The walk to the beach is an easy walk but one of the farthest for the subdivision. The ocean is in view from the upper deck and easily enjoyed from severeal tall adirondack chairs. The only complaint is the cleanliness of the house. We were told their are new owners and they are attempting to update the dirty carpet on the stairs. The general cleaning I am assuming was done by the rental agency was just fair. I feel like the place needed a REALLY good overall cleaning! I know they have to turn these places around quick from week to week but need to look into setting a higher standard! We have been vacationing to the cape for 10 years and love this neighborhood.

Due to a problem with another rental house, we found ourselves scrambling to find another place to stay the week of Thanksgiving. Lucky for us, Sunsational was available!
The house is very spacious and is filled with things to do, from big screen tv's to bikes to a closet full of games and puzzles. A port-a-crib was included for our granddaughter, and the rental agency lent us a booster seat. We loved the screened windows which were easy to open, letting us enjoy the balmy November weather. Much time was spent on the various decks, and three of our party even went in the non-heated pool on November 26th!
Two master suites gave the grandparents and the new parents room to spread out, and the other large bedrooms were perfectly comfortable for our other adult children. It's nice that the bunk beds have double beds on bottom.
In short, this is a spacious, well appointed rental property, and the walk to the beach is quick and easy. I would highly recommend Sunsational for anyone desiring a Florida Gulf vacation!

This house was perfect for our group. All of the rooms were huge, the beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was perfect, and they allowed us to bring our dogs. Also everyone at Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals was so friendly and helpful. I will be back next year.

The house was more than we expected. It was very beautiful and spacious. We loved the attention to detail. We lacked nothing as far as utensils & dishes. The pool area was great. Our family of 15 would definately rent this property again. Also Costal Joes was great to deal with. They were able to answer any questions we had. Very good experience.

Family vacation with fifteen people ranging in age from 9 months to 72 years. The house is lovely with plenty of room and nice size bathrooms. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for this size crowd , which was great as it is difficult to go out to eat with this many people. We all enjoyed the pool in the evenings after a day at the beach. The only negative of this house is the distance to the beach, which was no problem for the younger ones, just the grandparents.
Would recommend this home to any large group.

We had a great time at Cape San Blas and loved Sunsational. We did not think the cleaners did a good job before we arrived. The kitchen and dining area had crumbs on the floors and there were dirty spots on the tile. It obviously had not been swept or mopped. The mirror in the downstairs (ground level) had not been cleaned. Otherwise the house was pretty clean, not spotless, but fine. We loved the floor plan and had plenty of room for 10 of us. Some of the pool toys need to be thrown away and a chair on the second level porch needs to be repaired or replaced. We told the Coastal Joe office about the floors, and they made a note about it, I guess to tell the cleaners.

This house is designed really well. We all had our own private space but the living area was big and spacious for everyone to gather together and not be cramped. The pool is very nice to have and all the decks are wonderful. Its a pretty good walk to the beach but we were able to leave our tent and chairs out there all week and no one bothered them so it wasn't to big of a deal. Sunsational will definitely be on our list to rent in the future. Would recommend it to others without question.

everything was just wonderful...only problem was the tv and all the remotes to work it...the sound did not function in bedrooms...the home has a super kitchen...the master bedroom and bath are very very nice...the home was perfect for our family...this was our second visit to sensational...

The house was wonderful. It was so nice having all those bikes to use. There was everything you would need in the kitchen. The decks are awesome. The ice maker didn't work but that wasn't a problem. We just bought ice. I am sure it will be fixed. Coastal Joe was wonderful to work with. Everything went smoothly

The house was beautiful and clean. Lots of extras. A little far from the beach but a beach cart was provided that was awesome and extremely helpful. Only real complaint was that the pool was dirty. Called management company and they did send someone out right away. Pool net had lots of holes in it so it was difficult to get all the stuff out. Dont think pool skimmer was set properly.

My brothers and our families (total of 16 of us) wanted to go scalloping and spend a few days together. This place fit all our needs and then some. The area is so pretty and relaxing. The house is in a very quiet, neat, safe neighborhood. The house is very well appointed and just beautiful. The pool was an added bonus. We had a wonderful time and hated to leave. We will definitely choose Sunsational for our next stay.

We had 7 adults and 6 kids and the house was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach. Lots of outdoor furniture around the pool patio and on all of the decks. Enjoyed all the extra amenities provided, bikes, beach chairs, cooler, etc. Overall great property. We can't wait to return!

The house was very nice, well stocked with games, bikes, and kitchen equipment. We appreciated the wagon to cart stuff to the beach, which is a longer hike than we expected. While the ocean view from the house is nice, we had to walk a while to hit the beach. Some evenings we rode the bikes to the beach instead of walking.

This was our 5th trip to Sunsational and it was, as always, a pleasure. The home and pool area were spotless. I'm sure we'll be back this Spring.

Had a great time. Coastal Joe made the rental process extremely easy and straight forward. Literally all I had to do was walk into the office and pick up the key then drop it off on the way out.
The house was amazing and in a great location.

We enjoyed our vacation and the house very much, but we did have a surprise when we saw four rats in three days. One floating on our raft in the pool. When we called Costal Joe they told us that the rats are protected and they couldn't do anything about it. Also, the carpet needs cleaning, and we were disappointed that the beach cart was broken, the umbrella was broken, and four of the bikes were broken.
The listing said sleeps 16 but we had 15 and not enough beds. One of our guest had to sleep on the couch, and one slept on a cot that we brought. The house can actually sleep 14, if two people sleep on pullout in downstairs bedroom. I would say it is ideal for six adults and 8 children. There were small mats in a closet but only a small child would be able to use them.
The house is nice though, and now that we know all of that we can make a better decision about whether to return to Sunsational again or not.

Wanting a quite location away from the hustle and bustle of 30A, our family found just that in Cape San Blas. Sunsational provided a perfect retreat for our entire family , to include an elderly parent that could not manage stairs. The bottom suite was large enough to accommodate not only my parents, but any grandchildren that wanted to come down and spend the night with grandaddy. Will say that the noise made by the chairs in the kitchen above, does put a slight damper on those in the bottom suite that would like to go to bed earlier. suggest putting pads on the bottom of the chairs in kitchen. Kids loved all the bikes, unfortunately most of the tires were flat and a chain off. We got the tires inflated using our car. The compressor in the garage did not have appropriate tips for bike or inflatables. We also brought our own beach chairs, thank goodness. Most of the supplied chairs were rusted and broken. The Kitchen was supplied with every type of cooking tool needed to create dinners every night. The stove top was a little tricky to get a hang of, but we finally managed. Loved the house and the area. easy walk to beach, was able to leave beach stuff out on the sand for the week. Having a pool right out side your door was perfect. The best spot: the small porch outside of the master bedroom. A hidden gem to watch the sunset to end a perfect day. We definitely will be back.

This home is very nice and we all enjoyed the experience. I believe the rental cost is a bit high after talking with others that were staying in same area. A home on the beach, was almost half the cost of what I paid. It was about the same size, but had no pool. The icemaker in the frig was inadequate for a family. The beach cart was broken as were several beach chairs and there were lots of weeds around the pool. These are the only negative things I have to say about the home. A few ceiling fans on the porches would have been nice also. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Cape San Blas and felt very lucky to have found 900 scallops on our first attempt at this sport. Even our 3 grandkids age apprx. 6 were able to find the scallops in the bay. We stopped at a bait/fishing shop and were told just how to find and clean the scallops. What a fun adventure; all our adults bought a 3-day fishing license. We rented a pontoon boat and took it out one day and found scallops that day also.

We vacation each year with the entire family. This year we vacationed with two other families and were all comfortably accommodated in this rental. The children enjoyed the pool while the adults relaxed poolside at the patio table. The beach was a short walk from the property, however I suggest if you're hauling a lot of toys and chairs that you drive to the access your first trip. The beach is safe to leave your belongings there the entire stay without the hassle of loading your things up everyday. This rental overall exceeded our expectations as far as accommodating nine adults and six children comfortably. Definitely recommend to anyone vacationing with large or multiple families.

This summer we found an extra refrigerator downstairs, which was very helpful. The atmosphere the owners created makes a family feel as if they are welcomed guests. Also, the weather was perfect for a week at the beach!

We returned to CSB and Sunsational because we had a perfect vacation last year. It was nice to have a feeling of the familiar along with a few surprises (bikes!). We enjoyed every moment whether in the pool or at the beach, and are already thinking about the next trip. Coastal Joe's is great to work with, too. We'll be back! :-)

SPENT A WEEK AND HOUSE IS GREAT. ONLY THING THAT I COULD REALLY ADD WAS SOME FANS ON THE PORCHES BUT I DID CARRY A SMALL PERSONAL FAN THAT WORKED OK BUT FANS WOULD BE GREAT. WAS FUTHER TO THE BEACH THAN I THOUGHT SO WE DID NOT GO AS OFTEN, WAS HARD TO GET THERE AND CART WAS BROKE. REALLY HARD TO GET BEACH SUPPLIES TO THE BEACH. POOL WAS GREAT. REALLY NICE NEIGHBORHOOD. GREAT PLACE FOR LARGE GROUP IF BEACH IS SECONDARY..PLENTY OF PARKING TOO

Loved having the bikes available! We went for scalloping and were able to limit out three of the five days. It was nice to come back to the pool for a game of volley ball. Plenty of room for the eleven of us. Wish I had brought my dog!
My only complaints - ran out of toilet paper and dish soap, and the couches have seen better days.

We had a WONDERFUL time!! The house was perfect and was big enough for 3 different families to stay in and each have their own space. The extras that came along with the house were also nice- tons of bikes, beach chairs, etc. Great location- just bike to the ice cream shop!! Also, easy access to the beach through an empty lot. Loved Cape San Blas and a day on the bay is a must- kids (and adults) loved kayaking and paddleboarding!! No complaints about the island or the rental home but I do have just 1 suggestion to the owners- consider putting a basketball goal outside in the driveway. We went to the park for volleyball but couldn't find anywhere for basketball.

This is a great home and location for small and middle aged children as it is quiet, laid back, safe and had a pool! Young adults/older teens may not like the lack of night life but everyone else in our group loved the house and the location. We would have liked to be a little closer to the ocean but with small children in our family this was probably better!

What a terrific vacation. This its our second time to Cape San Blas and we will keep coming back! The beaches are beautiful, everywhere its dog friendly, lots of parks and outdoor adventures if toy chose or simply relaxing by the beach. Sunsational was wonderful. Lots of room for the families. Extra everything its at the house; lots of bedding poolside seating, nice large dining table for family meals or games. The bonuses that put Sunsational over the top: bikes galore, lots of beach chairs, games, books, movies....they have thought of everything. We will be back!

This house and location were perfect for us. We wanted a great pool with a lot of sun exposure in a spacious house on/very near the beach and we found it! A great bonus for this house is that there is a bathroom & shower accessible right by the pool. No
more climbing a flight of stairs and dripping water everywhere! We loved that our toughest decision every morning was "Should we go to the beach, or stay here at the pool?" We wanted to do nothing but relax and enjoy the sun, surf & sand, and that is exactly
what we got! It was hard to leave, and as we drove away we were already talking about "next time...." We'll be back! :-)

We've been to the Cape for the last 4 years and have always stayed in houses in the Seagrass subdivision. Sunsational was the nicest house we've stayed in. The kid's bunk room was a perfect setup and the kitchen was great. Thanks for making this beautiful home available to rent.

This home lived up to our greatest expectations- and then some. It is perfectly suited for a large family group and many, many thoughtful details were included. It's location in the Cape San Blas community was great for a safe, relaxed family vacation. The home was ready on time and was in outstanding condition. The pictures given online give you a general picture of the home. However, when we took our initial tour of the house, we were more than pleasantly surprised to find that it was a lot more spacious than we had expected. We had a group of 12 and everyone slept comfortably. The beach is beautiful and spacious for everyone in the neighborhood to have their own area. No worries of being crowded on the beach at all. The house isn't on the beach, but that wasn't a requirement for us. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great home in a great area.

We've been to Cape San Blas multiple times over the past years and always look for a home with a pool near the beach. Sunsational exceeded our expectations and is our new favorite on the Cape. The house was open, immaculate and stocked perfectly for every possible need. The pool area and deck were especially nice and provided a great space for us and our dogs to enjoy the great weather and grab some shade when needed. The only negative is really directed at other tenants - please pick up after your dogs even in the front yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunsational. The house is beautiful and very well cared for. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. It is very clean with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is just a short walk to the beach and from looking at other houses along Cape San Blas, I think it's one of the best locations as well. We will definitely stay in Sunsational again when we come back.

The only thing I would have different in the home is I would change the bunk beds and put in two double beds, or two queens, the room is large enough to handle either. But believe me there is plenty of room for everyone in your party.

Sunsational was a wonderful place for family members from several states to spend time and catch up before attending a memorable beach wedding. It was spacious, quiet, clean. I will definately return.
