Our team lives full-time in Port St. Joe. While working in real estate, we realized there was a special opportunity for a professional vacation rental management company in Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and Simmons Bayou. Beginning with just 11 properties, we’ve worked hard to grow our inventory and help property owners maximize the value of their Cape San Blas vacation homes. We enjoy getting out on Saint Joseph Bay, searching for scallops. and sharing the wonderful secrets of Cape San Blas with our guests.
How Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals got its Name
Once we decided to move forward with our company, we knew we needed a name. So, we held a contest in our family to come up with a name for our company. Since we live in Port St. Joe and this beautiful coastal area, our cousin thought Coastal Joe had a nice ring to it. We all agreed and Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals was established!
Mary Burkett/ Booking and Reservations Manager
Mary has been part of the CJVR family since 2010 and has served as Booking and Reservations Manager since 2023. Born and raised right here in Port St. Joe, she knows the area like the back of her hand and is always happy to share a little local knowledge with guests who come to enjoy our slice of the coast. After all these years in the vacation rental business, Mary has learned that a little patience, a little grace, and a good sense of humor can solve just about anything. She genuinely enjoys helping people, whether that means finding the perfect place to stay, answering questions about the area, or working through the occasional hiccup that comes with vacation rentals. Around here, people matter, and Mary believes in treating guests and homeowners the way she’d want her own family treated. When she’s not at work, Mary is a proud mom of three children and three fur babies. Family is the heart of her world, and she’s happiest surrounded by the people and pups she loves most.

Britney is a Port Saint Joe native that was born and raised in Gulf County. She has been with Coastal Joe since 2016 and married her husband Justin in 2018 and have two daughters, Brynlee and Macie. Can’t forget that she is an avid football fan that loves the Georgia Bulldogs. Just remember, beach more and worry less.
