The proceeds from the pagent benefits a local high school track team and a blood drive also takes place during this event.

This annual fishing competition fundraises for the building of artifical reefs. Starting off the weekend, the Captain's Party gathers fishermen to enjoy food and drink together before the big day of fishing! Register a boat with a group of friends to spend a day chasing the biggest catch. There are two divisions in the competition: recreational and professional/masters. After you reel in a prized catch, return to the boat ramp to weigh in and see how you stack up with the competition! This annual event is a can't miss for fishing enthusiasits!

Blast on the Bay is a three-day music festival in Port St. Joe that gives songwriters a chance to get back to their roots and showcase the music they have written. Blast on the Bay is unique because it's a chance for the artists to become the performer and a chance for the audience to hear where these songs truly come from. 

Expanding over three days and variety of venues, you can hear songs that were written for the likes of Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, and Jason Aldean. The songwriters mainly come from the Nashville area and escape to the Gulf of Mexico for the opportunity to perform and reconnect with their passion for music.
