This annual fishing competition fundraises for the building of artifical reefs. Starting off the weekend, the Captain's Party gathers fishermen to enjoy food and drink together before the big day of fishing! Register a boat with a group of friends to spend a day chasing the biggest catch. There are two divisions in the competition: recreational and professional/masters. After you reel in a prized catch, return to the boat ramp to weigh in and see how you stack up with the competition! This annual event is a can't miss for fishing enthusiasits!

Hosted in the nearby town of Apalachicola, the annual Florida Seafood Festival is a celebration of local cuisine! Festival goers can expect to find delicious seafood dishes as well as entertainment like live music and arts and crafts exhibits. Take part in competitions like the oyster eating and shucking contest, the 5k Redfish Run, Blue Crab races, and more. This annual event highlights delicious Tupelo Honey along with crafts, tasty food, and even a pagent! Get creative with arts and crafts or jam out to live music as you experience this family-friendly festival. The proceeds from the pagent benefits a local high school track team and a blood drive also takes place during this event.

Experience this 10-day festival to watch artists at their work, attend speaking events, shop in the marketplace and more! Painting stations will also be setup throughout the festival for novice painters to receive coaching from celebrated artists.
