This is an amazing piece of paradise. Location is fabulous. House is amazing. Everything you need for a great stay.

Very much enjoyed this home. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. Could hear the waves from the porches. The beach itself was very wide in this area, unlike other places nearby. We did not find the steps in this home to be an issue. This was the most well-stocked rental we’ve stayed in. The kitchen had everything (except crab crackers) and more. There were generous supplies that are usually bring your own like trash bags, laundry and dish detergent, cleaners, etc. and a large variety of spices. The home is showing some wear and tear though. Water leak in kitchen ceiling was stopped but ceiling not repaired. Oven had a heating element out so everything took a long time to cook and had to be flipped for even browning. Lock on upstairs sliding door was broken. The extra fridge in the basement was great, but the drawers were broken an shelves would fall out. The downstairs air unit was not working and this was the only issue we reported. We were told someone would fix it on Monday but no one showed and no one communicated with us. I think I sent 3 texts before receiving a response. Air was fixed on Tuesday though. The ping pong table was in great shape and was a hit, as was the whole garage with lots of chairs, noodles, a beach cart and grill. We would absolutely stay again if we need a place this big. We had 14 people, all teenagers and adults. The trundles didnt work for the teens. I’d say it sleeps 14-15 comfortably unless you have littles that can do the trundles.

We booked this home for the size with our large family. Everything from size, location, pool, deck, and walk to the beach was perfect. We hope to return for another summer trip.

We just love this location and home. It has everything you need to make your stay a home away from home. The beach is amazing with great sunrises and sunsets. We are already booked for next year.

This house is awesome for a large group! Everyone has their own space, or there is plenty of room if you want to hang out together.

Our stay was everything we expected and more. The views from the deck are spectacular. The home has everything you need. Very well equipped. The layout is perfect for a large group with bikes, beach chairs, ping pong table, two great rooms on different floors. You can have a big group but can separate for some individual time. When you stay here you will not want to go home.

Perfect home for our girls week and loved the beach! One of the best beaches in Florida and hope it stays a secret. Every bedroom has its own bath for privacy and quiet time. Large open kitchen provides great gathering place for our large group with beautiful ocean views. Planning a family reunion soon.

Stayed in Cape San Blas the last 8 years. Last two years at Sea Haven. The house works out great for our 16 person 3 generation family. Kids love it.

Great house, great locations...A little worn out. Needs a new fridge and dishwasher, however, everything was in good working order. Great bedroom setup for lots of people.

This beautiful home was perfect for our family vacation. Our party of 15 enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, swimming and fishing in the gulf just a short walk across the street, as well as playing ping pong in the lower level. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare all of our meals. We also appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The only things we could complain about were that we requested the pool heat be turned on prior to our our arrival although it wasn't, there were several light bulbs that needed to be replaced throughout the home, and some nails were sticking up on the deck. Management was very timely when responding to an issue with a paver that had sunk in the driveway. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return!

It was good. We love the beach. We love being down there after Labor Day.

There were 6 adults and 4 children in our group and there was plenty of space to spread out. That is why I chose this house. The furnishings were nice, beds were comfortable, ice maker was a bonus and appreciated, pool was very nice, and decks were the best. It is right by the boardwalk to the beach and it was less than a 5 minute walk. I didn't give a 5 on general condition just because it is starting to show age slightly. Bring some kitchen towels because there were just 2 I think. It is a lovely house and I would book again.

Loved the location. Loved the house. Well equipped kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the pinpong room, grill and pool. Easy access to beach. Lovely surrounding the house.
This house NEEDS AN elevator. Hauling suitcases, food, supplies up 39 stairs is tough on everyone.
Parking was adequate for four vehicles.

Some negatives to deal with. Kitchen/dining areas were grubby. White chairs were sticky with dirt. Broken cupboard doors and dirty.
Nice number of bikes and beach equipment.
Garbage situation is gross. No recycling. Stink was unbearable a couple of days. One garbage completely inadequate for large group.
A refrigerator on lower level would ne very helpful.
Internet access was spotty.
Laundry was adequate. Had to hunt for linens and towels for several bedrooms.
No bathroom supplies at all. No soap.
Several sliding doors could not be secured.
Dishwasher is unbalanced making it difficult to load. Dishwashdoor falls to floor and smashes toes.

Third time in a row staying here! Will book again next year

This was a wonderful home for our big family vacation. We were 13 with grandparents and two families and were pleased with the table and bar that seated all of us. We also enjoyed the location to the beach, the pool, the pingpong table and an extra living area for the teens to watch tv. Beds were super too!

For a house to be so beautiful, yet so homey and comfortable is truly remarkable. I can't think of a thing we needed the house didn't have. My family had a never ending ping pong battle going on nightly. The pool was perfect. The beach access is soooo convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. I could go on and on. We have spent our fall break in this area the past 3 years, but had done a condo. We will def be booking this house for our upcoming trips!!

All the stairs were rough for the first couple of days for the older guests, it stormed the whole week except for 2 days, but we all had a great time.

Sea Haven has never failed to disappoint. We bring our large extended family and everyone has a great time. The house is large enough for you to get away from everyone else for quiet time reading a book on one of the many decks. The kitchen is large and roomy when we all gather for meals. The pool area is great and there is plenty of parking for everyone. The only improvement would be an elevator. Other than that, we have never had a problem with the house. Our interactions with Costal Joe Vacation Rentals have been effortless and professional. Can't wait to come back to the Cape.

This was our first time to Cape San Blas and we loved it! The beaches were not packed, like our previous vacation spots. Sea Haven is a beautiful house and had plenty of space. The pool is a bit small, but with the beach right across the street, it was perfect! Loved the ocean views, Absolutely my favorite part. The stairs in the home were a bit much for our elderly parents, so an elevator would have been nice. But, the wrap around porches made up for it. We all enjoyed this summer vacation!

Five older couples all brothers /sisters -in-laws. Sea Haven is a beautiful home with lot's of extras. The service from Costal Joes specifically from Mary and Tammy was outstanding. We have been doing this for15 yrs. and this team is the absolute hands down group from checking in to asking for help extend our stay an extra day with only two couples.

This is one great house. The property was very clean!! Plenty of cooking equipment. Room for a large groups or families with children. Easy access to the beach . Even pet dishes in case you forgot them. Gulf views and lovely sunsets.

The house location was an easy walk to the beach. Sitting on the balconies afforded lovely views of the beach. The pool was a nice bonus especially during the mid-afternoon break from the beach.

The entire place is set up for large families and/or groups. Three king bed bedrooms, one bedroom with two twins and one bedroom with two bunk beds and trundles. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is also nice.

For some very odd reason, only three televisions could get cable at a time. Towards bedtime, many adults wanted to retire to their respective bedrooms and watch TV, but you had to get to your room first or no joy.

Kitchen had all the essentials, plus some spices and a few cleansers left from previous guests. Beach is awesome! One of the few beaches that allows pets (leashed) and they even allowed bonfires in the evenings. All the guests up and down the block would just set up their tents, chairs etc and just leave them there on the beach for the week. Very very relaxing time.

Only real downside is the location. In order to "get away from it all" you kinda do get away from it all. Almost 1 1/2 hrs from the Panama City airport. And not easily accessible from highways--which adds to travel time. So keep expectations realistic. There is a reason it's referred to as the "forgotten coast". Area isn't really built up. Highly recommended for R&R, but not for adrenaline junkies :).

I think this was the best vacation we have had with our whole family. The house was perfect and location was just right. Between the pool and the beach, our grandkids went nonstop. We had just a few minor issues, but Coastal Joe took care of them almost immediately. They were great to work with. We loved the wrap around balconies. Great place to go just to relax with the family. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such an enjoyable time.

Our trip was amazing! The property turned out to be wonderful and all the amenities provided were perfect! We could not have asked for a better vacation!

We loved the lay out of the house and found it to be fully equipped. Our disappointment was that the house didn't have an elevator. The stairs wore us out.

We had a truly unbelievable experience. Family and friends were easily accommodated. The house is designed so that there is plenty of space to get away from everyone, but a spacious common area for having the whole gang together at once! And of course the private pool is the icing on the cake!

We had a great time in this house which we shared as four families. The small issues we had were fixed promptly by the management company. We are considering staying in the house again.

The Sea Haven house was all that I imagined it would be. The property was beautiful, and the beaches at Cape San Blas were some of the most incredible beaches I've seen. I sincerely hope to return to the Cape area in the future!

This beach house was amazing. It made you feel like you where at right home but on the beach. Very well decorated, great size and close to the beach! Our whole family enjoyed it...awesome vacation!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We were very pleased with the management company, the location of the house, the pool, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and sheets for the pull out couch. The kitchen was very well-stocked, although we were a little disappointed in the condition of some of the frying and saute pans...especially since we ate in most evenings. The only major concern was the cleanliness upon our arrival. The bathrooms were very clean, but it didn't look like the kitchen had been cleaned. The countertops were dirty and the front of the cabinets had stains and spots on them. Within the first hour, I wiped down the entire kitchen with cleaner. In addition, the entire house was pretty dusty. Despite this blip, we had a wonderful time and would easily stay in this house again. We're hoping the cleaning issue was just a minor oversight and not a regular occurrence. The kids absolutely loved the multitude of beach toys and bikes that were also available.

Wonderful place to stay for a large family. There could have been more towels and the bottom floor twin bed mattresses could stand to be replaced but overall it was quite comfortable and lovely. Would definitely stay there again.

A couple of moms took a bunch of kids to this house for their Spring Break. The house is exactly as advertised. The kitchen is better equipped than any rental house I've ever stayed in. Plenty of everything that is usually lacking ... tupperware, serving bowls, large pots, plates, pitchers, etc. The pool was awesome and access to the beach was very easy and close. Ping pong room, large tvs and lots of movies came in handy on rainy/windy/chilly days. Property management was great - repaired a non working hot water heater within an hour of the call. Only issue we had was seasonal trash pick up was only once per week - and on Monday. Another trash container would be helpful with a large crew generating lots of trash (and the ability to recycle would have been welcomed as well).

We loved staying at the Sea Haven the week of New Years! Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, we still had a great time. House was perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of room to spread out. The kids loved the ping pong and the bikes provided. On New Years Eve we had a Bon fire on the beach. Great memories! Thanks for sharing your house!

Another great week at Cape San Blas for our large family...Only complaint might be "crowding" on the beach. We've grown so used to being able to spread out on the beach that we felt a little crowded because we were in a community. The house was really nice and afforded everyone "space" in the evenings. Ready for next year.

We had such a good time just doing nothing. The pool was great since several days were "red Flags" for the beach. House has just the right amount of together and apart spaces

This home was very nice and comfortable too. I appreciated the owners, they were very helpful and kind. We loved having a pool and yet being very close to the beach too. My children and grands had a wonderful time!

The views were great,the pingpong room was alwaysbusy with tournaments. The grandchildren
loved the biking and kayaking. We did have a few plumbing problems, but we just shared our
showers. Fun was had by all, 5-68 years. We
even spent a day at Apalach. I would recommend
the Owl Cafe for great seafood. We hope to be back next year for our annual Thanksgiving on the beach.

We found some leftover trash around the pool and in the house when we arrived BUT we let Coastal Joe's know about it and they were right on it. A cabinet door was fixed right away by a very friendly employee. They seem to be a great management company and every employee we dealt with was friendly. We even ended up extending our stay. The property is not right on the beach but just a short walk away. I would definitely go back.

This was an absolutely beautiful home! The decor was very high quality, especially for a beach home. Dolphins, dolphins and more dolphins...even a couple swam under our stand up paddle board.

My ONLY complaint: our house wasn't ready at 4 pm due to a "miscommunication" between the rental company and the cleaners AND they didn't have time to get our electric grill working the day of arrival. When I questioned this late check-in and stressful beginning to our 16 people vacation, I was greeted with a quick and not so understanding employee. This rental company charges for your late departure (based on rental agreement), but there are no compensations for a late start to your vacation. Renter beware of this rental company, but definitely rent SEA HAVEN - beautiful!

This house was more than generous in size for 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 teenagers. The views were absolutely amazing; the top deck offers views of both the ocean and bay. Nothing beats having your morning coffee on the deck listening to the waves crash against the beach. This was the best vacation that we have been on so far and will definitely be coming back.

Awesome vacation home! Our family of 15 stayed comfortably for a week. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the bright, beautiful colors used throughout and the beach decor. The view from the living room and kitchen on the third floor was amazing! A view of the ocean and beach in all directions! We definitely hope to stay here again.

The only problem we had is that the game room ice box broke and we left a message with the office but we never received a return call and no one fixed it.

This this is the second time we have stayed at the Sea Haven. We've been going to the beach for a week each year for the last 30 years, and this is our favorite house. It has every amenity you could ask for and it is meticulously maintained. We don't want to stay anywhere else.

Our family was very pleased with our vacation stay at Sea Haven. The home is well furnished and the location is unbeatable.

This house has it all! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen that made it easy for a full house of hungry teenagers. The house had beach chairs, bikes, scooters, pool toys, games, movies and more. The house has ocean views for many rooms. Would consider renting this one again.

The northern second floor bedroom's bathroom door would not close completely. The strike plate appear to be misaligned.

We had a great time at this home. When we arrived, the home looked perfect, with nice landscaping,closed-in garage,12+ bikes were a nice surprise,loved the pool area w/ lounge chairs,showers,equipment closet;game room was awesome w/ ping-pong table,tvs and a drink fridge. Stairs--there were 38 to be exact, at first we were a bit tired of walking those all day long, but later we loved the exercise we were getting and didn't mind them at all by the end of the trip. A few bothers were the floors kind of dirty when we arrived, we don't wear shoes indoors and our feet were soiled quick. Also, almost none of the bedroom and bathroom doors locked. That was quite a surprise when someone walked in on you! We hope those will be fixed soon. The tv remotes were very difficult to operate, too many of them and mostly did not work at all. The pool gate latches did not work and actually one of the gates completely broke off it's hinge (very rusted), we had to call that in. The kitchen was very well supplied with all kinds of extras that we won't bring next time. Loved the ice maker, dining room table was nice and large. One thing they may consider adding would be some sort of window coverings on the top floor (kitchen/dining/living room area); it was a little hard to watch tv with the glare on it and eating at the main dining table with the sun right in your face. Blinds would ruin the view, but some sort of drapes that open and close would be a plus. The walk ways to the beach were nice, but a little over-grown on the foliage and ground debris needs a clean-up. Other than those few things, the house was absolutely perfect for our family and we have already told all of our circle of family/friends about this home. We will be back soon to enjoy this fabulous property! Enjoyable time,great weather,beautiful decor thru-out home,extra blankets,2 living areas were nice,loved it, loved it! The wrap-around porches were the best!! Nice neighborhood. Had all the amenities anyone could need and beautifully decorated. The stairs became tiresome after awhile. I would be careful of renting this home if someone in your party had mobility issues.
Also, there is not much sound proofing between top (living room and kitchen) and middle floor (3 bedrooms) When people are moving around up there you will definitely hear them.

Great house !!!

Our visit to Cape San Blas was in honor of our daughter's high school graduation. We brought the whole family; grandparents, uncles/aunts and cousins, 15 total. The house was perfect! It was spacious, comfortable and so close to the beach. None of us was ready to leave (not always the case on a big family vacation). Thanks for magical memories.

We enjoyed the Sea Haven property very much...the pool right off a back deck was a real plus, as was the rec room with ping pong table. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepard serveral dinner in...thanks for the convenient outdoor propane grill. For us, an extended family of 11 with 5 children (four age 6 and younger) Sea Haven was just that!

A lovely house, in a lovely location. 10 people and 3 dogs descended on Sea Haven, and we had a delightful time. The house has enough private spaces and gathering spaces that anyone can either be alone, or be surrounded by others without effort. The kitchen was a true standout. Incredibly well-equipped, even for our curry cook-off, and did I mention sharp knives? We had a lovely time, and a few people even decided to stay an extra day. We'll be back, as soon as we can!

I would recommend this property to everyone. Our stay was perfect and the entire family would do take the trip again in a heart beat. Room for everyone
and privacy if you need to get away. Wish I was there.

The house was great. We had a great time. THe sunsets on the beach where beautiful. The only problem was only half the grill worked so grilling was a problem. The separate small ice maker did not work well. I did report these problems and I feel sure they will take care of them. All in all we had a wonderful and restful vacation.

I think that new mattresses would be a good thing. This is the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in, (but could use a large baking dish). The floor plan is great! The house is decorated beautifully, has wonderful decks.Would definitely stay here again!

By the time we left the smell was terrible over the whole area. Besides that it was awesome. The beach and house were better than we even expected and our children didn't want to leave. Stayed at Sea Haven from 8Jan10 to 13Mar10. This was second year staying in this property. Everything about the place is more than satisfactory. Property Manager is very responsive to any and all issues. Property Owner equally so. Highly recommend this property to others.

Everyone enjoyed long walks on the beach, the sunsets, swims in the pool and, of course, each others' company. Our Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by windows and views of the beach was great! What a wonderful vacation!
