We always have a great rental experience when we book AT EAST through COASTAL JOE. Coastal Joe is easy to work with whether communicating via phone, email, or text. At Ease is a great rental. It's always quiet and clean. We like the beach access and the layout of the townhouse. It has ample parking as well.

Our family had a wonderful time in Cape San Blas. The unit we stayed in was well maintained and was a perfect location. Thank you Coastal Joe team for making check-in easy and ensuring our stay was wonderful.

The unit was clean and nice on the inside. The view is decent. However, that is where the niceness ends. The top floor was unbearable from heat. The owner(s) would be well served to spend a little money and get a split (small air conditioner unit) for the top floor. That would solve the issue. There is one air unit and it is not capable of handling the size of the unit. The main air closet was not set up well. We had to open the door (all week) just to let it get good air flow. I would NEVER recommend this unit to anyone until they decide to upgrade the air conditioning. It came close to ruining our stay. We will not ever go back to this specific unit.

The view is unbeatable for the price! We have styed here for several years and plan to return next year. They provide everything we need and we can bring our dogs. It gets a bit warm on the top floor and the mast could use a new mattress or mattress topper but the counter upgrades in the kitchen and baths this year were nice.

Overall, we had a wonderful time staying on the Cape. Just a few things to note about At Ease, the place and grounds were very nice, some items in the home were broken which we have alerted the staff about, kitchen cabinet door and exhaust fan in master bathroom. Our largest concern for future renters, if you have dogs, the stairs could be dangerous depending on their demeanor and agility. We have 4&5 yr old pups and our 5 yr old slipped and fell down the stairs when coming in from outside. My purpose in stating this is for a future pets safety and nothing at all against the house. The south facing balcony’s boasted amazing sun all day and incredible sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was very well equipped with all you could need. The home is just steps to the beach and has a heated outdoor shower.

Experience was good! Rental Management Company was very easy to work with. Location was great - great gulf view and across from pool. Nice big kitchen with lots of cookware and dishes. Very comfortable seating and huge foyer downstaires. Great stay.

At Ease was a beautiful place to stay. Upon entering it smelled very fresh and clean. The beds were all very comfortable. Would’ve been nice to have a couple extra washcloths and towels so maybe bring some of your own. There were beach chairs and beach toys there to use which was awesome we did not have to bring anything. There are a lot of steps but with the 1/2 bath on the main level it was great. I have noticed that a lot of places we’ve stayed the pans are usually low quality but that is definitely not the case here. They had great pans that things don’t stick to and in a variety of sizes.Would love to stay here again. The management company was very friendly and easy to work with also.

Another great week at the Cape. We had a great time even though we had the effects of Ida to deal with. Lots of rain and rough surf but we made the best of it. At Ease is a great unit. Clean and well maintained. We did miss the elevator.

This is our 3rd year staying in this unit. We absolutely love it. They have everything you could possibly need. We recommend it to anyone coming to the Cape!

This is the 3rd year we've stayed in this unit. It's perfect for our family of 4 and we started bringing my nephew last year. The view is amazing and we see dolphins every year. The beach is clean and pet friendly. The people on the cape are great. This is my happy place and the minor issues we had with the unit (coffee maker) was fixed/replaced quickly. The place is clean and well furnished and decorated. The master could use a new mattress. We will definitely return.

The Condo was clean and ready by check in time. The Condo kitchen was very well stocked.

Let me just say the unit is very nice. They say it is dog friendly, but I must say it’s not dog friendly. I actually had to take my golden retriever home because she kept falling down the stairs they were extremely steep and slippery. I got a house sitter and a pet sitter so back to the beach we went, from that point on it was a pretty good vacation can’t complain. You’re right there on the beach beautiful views you couldn’t ask for more but again if you have older dogs they’re going to have difficulty navigating the stairs. And if you’re older like me your knees are going to kill you after about a month of climbing the stairs. The people that care for the unit coastal Joe wooden waste my time renting from them again! They never answered their phones, I had to go in person to get their attention. The owners were very good even got my wife a new bed to sleep on. The people at Holmen if they had other units I’d be glad to rent from them but I’ll never use coastal Joe again.

We love to take fall trips to the Cape. At Ease was the perfect location for our family this year. It is convenient to the State Park for bay access, and beach access is just steps away. Will definitely keep this on our short list of favorite CSB rentals.

Short we only got to stay 3 of the 7 days, due to the hurricane and no water power going off And on , Toronto warming’s ever 10 mins, is staying in the downstairs hallway all night long Tuesday night, and the flooding we left early. We have been trying to either get a parcel payment back or a discount on another weeks stay but no response, thank you for caring how our stay was.

Had a great time this is our fifth year in this unit we always seem to have a problem with the unit being clean when we arrive though. With the covid19 going on this year we thought they would be extra care and they would’ve taken a bit more seriously but we cleaned the unit when we arrived and it was filthy. The bottoms of our feet were brown and black from the flooring and we wiped down all of the handrails for the stairs and the disinfectant wipes were dark brown. The cleaners are obviously not getting underneath any of the furniture or cushions on the furniture there was food under the cushions and beds.

We very much enjoyed our stay through Coastal Joe and the property At Ease. This property was clean and exactly like the description. The customer service from Coastal Joe was great throughout the process.

We visit the cape every year in May and this is our second year staying in this unit. We loved it last year and this year was slightly different I believe due to Covid 19. It was still a very enjoyable vacation and they provided nearly everything you should need. The view is breath taking! and the pool is right next to the unit. It gets a little warm on the top floor but if other bedrooms keep their doors shut it helps. I definitely recommend this unit. It's exactly what you see in the photos.

The property I rented was wonderful....pretty, clean, great location. Unfortunately we had to be moved due to a water leak. We were moved to another unit with 4 floors. The elevator didn’t work and it was filthy. Every surface and floor was covered in a thick, brown dirt. We were moved to a third unit. We spent an entire 8 hours of one of our days waiting for maintenance, then moving our belongings twice. We were exhausted and missed an entire day of vacation. I asked for a partial refund for that day, but was not given one. The office manager told me he would be in contact about it, but I never heard another word from him. The 3rd unit was also 4 floors. The elevator broke the day before we were scheduled to leave. We were told there was no one to fix it. We had to load our belongings from a 2 week vacation down 4 flights of stairs. This was also unfortunate for one of my dogs, as she is old and has arthritis. I had to lock her in a bedroom until we had everything loaded, so she didn’t try to go in the stairs until it was time to leave. The office manager at Coastal Joe was very rude to me. He continuously interrupted me and would not let me speak. He raised his voice at me and shouted, “we had a hurricane here!”. I was well aware of Hurricane Michael. I have followed all the updates and Facebook pages about the progress of the area. We did not even consider not going back this year. We love The Cape. I chose to spend my vacation there and purposefully shopped and ate more meals out, to bring business to the area. The issues we encountered were not related to the hurricane. I certainly felt I should have been refunded for the lost day of our vacation. I most certainly feel that the manager at Coastal Joe should have shown a lot more compassion and professionalism. I would love to stay at At Ease, again, if it becomes available through another rental company.

The unit was great, well furnished and clean, and in good repair. Cape San Blas is still recovering from hurricane damage but At Ease was 100% -- very comfortable and convenient to the beach and pool.

We were the first visitors after hurricane Michael and we were there in late May. There were no signs of damage from what we could tell and many of the surrounding residences were being worked on. The home is roomy and has just about everything you could need. The views are absolutely stunning and we saw dolphins multiple times. The only downsides are the carpet, the outdoor shower is not enclosed and the bed in the master is pretty uncomfortable. I found that if you keep all bedroom doors shut it helps to keep the top floor cool. The carpet isn't terrible but it could be replaced. That being said, we will definitely return. We have been visiting the cape for 10 years and the value you get for these views and the amount of living space is unbeatable.

I love the Cape and loved this unit and community. It was exactly what we were looking for. No complaints at all. Everything was easy and perfect.

This was our second year at "At Ease," our choice, so that ought to tell you that it's an OK place. It's beautifully decorated, well appointed, and meticulously maintained. The only true downside to this unit (to us) is that it doesn't have dual AC and by the time we get the temp adjusted so that the 4th FL master is cool, the lower levels are a bit nippy (thus the 4 stars). As we are yearly visitors to CSB, we will most likely be staying in this unit again. Trust me, you'll love it.

We loved this property. The condo was well-maintained; clean; and had great access to the pool and the beach. One warning...there are a lot of steps, but it did not bother our family. We hope to return to this property next year.

This was so clean and nice. Plenty of room for everyone and had everything we needed for the perfect week at the perfect beach! The only downside I would say is the dryer doesn't work all that great and the dishwasher smelled a bit musty. It did not ruin our week but that might need to be looked at.

The condo was well maintained with an updated kitchen and living area. Ocean views were visible from the main deck, the master suite and the second bedroom. The beach is a short 2-3 minute walk. The pool is also visible from the main deck and is pretty much right outside your back door.

It was nice that they allowed dogs and our pets throughly enjoyed their stay. There were other units who also had dogs and it was very common to see dogs on the beach hanging out with their owners.
The only negative review I would give the property is that the top floor, which housed the master suite, was always hot. We had to keep the fan running all the time. The moment you got halfway up the steps leading to the suite you could feel the temperature change. There were also A LOT of steps. If you choose to stay in the master suite just be prepared.
Even with these two negatives we had a wonderful time at this condo and would stay again the next time we return.

This was our 5th visit to Cape San Blas (our happy place) and our 4th stay in Seacliffs. At Ease is in excellent location, close to the beach and pool with a good view of the gulf. Overall the unit met our needs. I might suggest that the carpet be replaced with hard surface flooring. The beach sand and pets have taken its toll on the carpet on the stairs and bedroom floors. The artwork throughout the unit was beautiful. There were plenty of cooking utensils and dishes, however, there were only one set of towels per guest. We love the Cape and will be back.

The Good, the bad, and the gross

I will start with the good, there are fantastic views from all three balconies. The unit is spacious with a very nice flow. The hard surfaces, dishes and linens were all spotless. There are two full size sofas in the living room that are super comfortable and very clean. It has new appliances that all performed well. The inside appears to be professionally decorated. It was stocked with a plethora of books, games and magazines. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in with EVERYTHING you need to whip up a great meal and serve it on beautiful platters and dishes. The master king mattress is super comfy. The HVAC was fast and efficient.

Now for the bad,......this unit doesn't have an elevator like most of the others in the complex. The stairs are super steep and like the others have mentioned the carpet is gross. It's sad, because it's fairly new carpet that appears to have never been vacuumed on the stairs. It is literally filthy. I wanted so badly to vacuum it myself, but the only vacuum in the unit was a cheap stick vac made for hard surfaces. The rental company promised to bring out a vac, but never did.

Now the gross,......there was a dirty smell. Maybe it was the carpet, but more likely it was the sewer water coming thru the ceiling. We called Coastal Joes and they said the owner was aware of it and was waiting until he could come out to fix it himself. Well, it was dripping thru the ceiling onto our pile of shopping bags full of our new purchases from the Premium Outlets. They sent someone out to replace the toilet wax ring and left the mess for ME to clean on my vacation!

I would return to this unit despite the gross carpet and just never take my shoes off. Plus I know the toilet is fixed. I would recommend that the owner have the carpets cleaned regularly and buy a $70 vacuum.

Beautifully decorated. After we adjusted to the narrow, slippery steps (and one of our small dogs fell down a flight), all was fine (we like having steps to climb!). The only thing I think could make this unit better is a separate AC for the top floor. By the time we got the master temp comfortable, the lower floors were freezing! We have already booked for next year, though, since this unit is our new favorite.

We loved the At Ease condo.

The condo had three balconies, plenty of room, was clean and updated and had a great view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico from the upper two floors. We really loved the unit. Everything in the unit was updated and the unit was quite spacious.

The only caveats I would say are these:

1). The stairs are VERY steep. There are 57 stairs for anyone staying in the Master. 57 from the garage area. So either be in great shape or suffer, again those stairs are steep!

2). Carpet. The carpet in this unit is a dark grey semi shag. Carpet at the beach is hard enough to keep clean but shag carpet just feels old and outdated and unclean even in the best kept houses. I know the cleaning crew can't vacuum (it would take far too long eat cleaning) so to me the carpet felt gross. We just used house shoes. That carpet needs to be replaced with tile or other flooring.

But all in all it was one of the best condos we've stayed in. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at At Ease was wonderful! The dcor of the condo was awesome. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a really great time, the beach was clean and beautiful. The beach is dog friendly so that is great for pet owners. You can do bonfires on the beach, I suggest you do this if you haven't before it's a blast. The condo and neighborhood was nice, large and pet friendly. We did have a slight problem with finding a mouse in the house. Having 2 dogs with a great sense of smell helped us track him and get rid of him. Overall great time and I would do it again, minus the mouse.

We had a great time at CSB! The location of our condo was perfect! The pool was right outside our carport and we had a short walk to the beach. We are already planning next years trip. Thank you for sharing your awesome home with us!!!

We had absolutely wonderful family vacation at At Ease! The condo is a lot bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. There was more than enough space for our family of five plus our golden retriever. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. New pots and pans were delivered our second day, but we didn't need them and left them boxed up. The furnishings were comfortable, especially the beds! The location was very convenient to both the pool and the beach! The beach was beautiful with soft white sand and clear water. We spent every day there! The sunsets were breathtaking! We spent the evenings watching the sun go down then had a little fire and made s'mores. The State park is a treat nearby and we went kayaking in the bay where we saw lots of critters! We had so much fun and we'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Nice vacation rental, clean and well stocked. Beautiful views from all 3 patios, kitchen had everything we needed. Remote location without cell service. We had several rainy days, so spent a lot of time inside, the couch and recliner are not very comfy. We did not realize that this was a 4 story unit with the master on the 4th floor. We used the 3rd floor guest room and it was comfortable. Really the only draw back was the 3 sets of steep carpeted stairs. Cape San Blas is a beautiful area, just be sure to bring everything you need, nearest grocery store is in Port St. Joe about 20 minutes away. The Trading Post(on the cape) has pretty good selection for basics. Recommend "Joe Mama's Pizza" and "Peppers" (Mexican) in Port St. Joe. Good food & service, but go early to avoid the crowds.
The beach is beautiful white sand, beautiful dunes with sea oats and my dog really loved going to the beach.

We enjoyed the decor and stocked kitchen. Loved that there was a crock pot and grill. Short walk to the pool and a bit longer to the beach. Coastal Joes was very helpful with questions and check in. Only thing that we didn't like was not being able to get in our place until 4:00, and that we couldn't add a few days to our stay without adding a full week. The weeds around the pool needed taken care of as well. Everything else on the grounds were nice. It's a beautiful place and I would recommend it most definitely!!! Thank you to the owners for sharing their piece of heaven with us!

Our family spent a terrific week at At Ease. The unit was great and the view from every balcony was wonderful. The beach was very family friendly and our chocolate lab loved it! We are already planning next year.

Perfect location on Cape San Blas. Home is so considerately furnished. The only vacation rental ever to have sharp chef's knives and heavy bottom pans for cooking. A deck off every floor with comfortable seating. Agents at Coastal Joe provided every assistance in making our stay memorable. We caught fish, walked the miles of powdery sand, swam in the pool. Can't wait to return.

We've been coming to Cape San Blas 2-3 times a year for 8 years. At Ease is by far the cleanest, most well-kept, well-furnished and well-stocked town home we've ever had the pleasure of renting. We surf fish, so the proximity to the boardwalk and the smooth, no-steps walk over to the sand is a big plus. The owners of At Ease stock the kitchen so well, you really feel like they thought of every last detail to make you feel at home. Unlike many town home rentals, there is plenty of comfortable living room seating so the whole family of 6 can flop together at the end of the day...just one of the many reasons At Ease lives up to its name.

We had a wonderful time! The beach was so close we could go back and forth with the kids easily all day. The pool was very clean and we would have loved to use it if it had been a little warmer weather. The townhome was very clean and stocked with anything we could have asked for. There were beach toys for the kids and beach chairs for us to use. The vacation was wonderful and relaxing in a non commercialized area. We would go back to Cape San Blas again and use Coastal Joe Rentals again. The only thing that was difficult for us was all the stairs with 3 kids 3 yrs and under. Luckily we had a few gates that we brought with us so they couldn't go up or down by themselves. Overall it was pretty kid friendly- there were not locks on the cabinets but the kids loved to play in the tuperware and pots and pans.

Really enjoyed staying here. Had to get used to the stairs. The unit is very usable and clean. Dog-friendly.

Coastal Joe's office was great to work with. We received timely responses to all questions! The pictures don't do this unit justice. The rooms were very spacious and the balcony views were perfect. From the master balcony we viewed the gulf each morning while having coffee. The first story balcony allowed us to watch our girls in the pool. The unit was clean upon arrival and smelled great. Our only problem was some of the pots needed to be scrubbed before use. We enjoyed having the short walk over the dunes to the gulf and the very short walk to the pool. This unit is located perfectly for anyone to enjoy. We're planning a longer trip next year!

This was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had!
The property was better than we had imagined. It was exceptionally clean and we had no problems. The rental agency was very easy to work with. We booked this at the last min - booked on a Friday for the following 7 days.
Be prepared you will have zero cell coverage but the property offers free long distance calls so that was a plus for us as I did have to work a little while there. We went to the National Wildlife Refuge around the corner from the townhouse and walked for 3 hours and saw 2 people. We collected tons of beautiful shells - something I find tremendously relaxing.
While there I strongly recommend Joe Mamma's family run restaurant, Haughty Heron in Port St. Joe and the Owl Cafe in Appalachicola.
We look forward to returning real soon and we will definitely stay at this property if available.

This was our first time at Cape San Blas. We loved "At Ease", it truely made us at ease. You never know anymore if pictures are up to date. But they were spec on, really better in person than the pictures did it justice. The townhouse was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, had everything we needed for cooking, even down to pool and beach chairs/toys. We will be back again and will recommend it to friends and family.

We have been staying on the Cape for years now and always enjoy returning to Sea Cliffs. It provides the relaxation needed and fun for the family. At Ease was the perfect home to achieve both this year. We will definitely be returning to At Ease.

At Ease is a perfect condo for our family. We love having a bathroom with each bedroom. Views of the gulf and the swimming pool from our balconies made our location outstanding. This is our 2nd and not our last stay in At Ease.

We stayed for two weeks and my Mom and Dad and my boys all had a great time ... What a great place loved the location and loved the beach ! We will rent this unit again ...It was wonderful

There were beach chairs, camping type chairs, and lots of toys in the downstairs closet which weren't listed on the webpage.

The website lists free long distance but there isn't any so that needs to be changed.

This condo was very comfortable and a joy to stay in. The decor was much prettier than it shows in the pictures. It was also well stocked with most everything we could need. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

The condo was in a great location. Close to the pool and beach. Had a lot of rain while we were there and a few problems with that--leaks, but notified management and they came out to check after rain stopped. Four floors and a lot of stairs which were not so great for our parents that were with us. Overall we had a great experience.

Good location to beach, pool. Floors needed a little more cleaning, had to ask for towels for kitchen but realtor brought quickly.

We are planning on coming back!

This condo is in a great location with regards to the pool and beach. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment,and the beds were comfy.
We have been coming to the cape for years and have always been pleased with the properties that Coast Joe has to offer.

Rental employees were very helpful and very professional in helping us on a last minute decision to rent. Stayed 10 days, had a wonderful time. Condo located just perfect, for the view, walking to the beach. Had a great time and would come back again.

We had a wonderful time. "At Ease" is a beautifuly decorated home that is also very comfortable. We had everything we needed to relax cook meals and spend time with our family. The view is great from each of the three decks & it is a very short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed the warm weather & watching the schools of fish swim in the clear water along the shore. We actually saw a school of dolphins a little further off shore that seemed to put on a show for us. It was great. Our Granddog Toki enjoyed himself immensely and went for his first swim in the ocean. He was so excited to be off of his leash with wide open spaces to run as much as he wanted. Overall it was a very nice experience & we hope to go back one day.

This is so much nicer and more spacious than depicted in the listing photos! Sometimes weve been disappointed upon arrival to find beach view photos in the rental listing were zoomed innot this time!! Did not count the steps but 18C really is that close to the beach!! There were beautiful views to the front from large balconies on three floors, and to the back from bay windows on two floors! Comfortable seating was available, which made the balconies a nice spot to read, watch the sunset or enjoy the moon rising over the water. What a treat it was to fall asleep listening to the sounds of the surf! We would have enjoyed eating some meals, particularly breakfast, on the balcony off living room/kitchen so we do hope the new owners will add a table to this area in the future.

Beds were super comfy (so many closets) and the hand stitched quilts were especially delightful to this Kentucky family. Just as described, there was 1 King, 1 Queen and two twin beds. Everything was clean and in working order. Enjoyed the new gas grill! There were more than enough dishes, cookware, glassware and eating utensils. Decorative touches included prints of works by a local artist which depicted local scenery. We really appreciated finding extra pillows and blankets stashed in a closet for the one slightly chilly night of our stay.

Staff from the rental agency was friendly, professional and answered all our questions. In many years of renting vacation properties around the world, we found this check in/ check out process to be the easiest we've encountered. Would be nice to have had a few more child friendly items such as a couple of smaller spoons/forks as well as plastic bowls and cups.(Plastic plates were available and there were some larger plastic cups but they were a little large for small children.)

We had a wonderful week on the Cape. We have been vacationing there on & off for 15 years. The SeaCliffs are always a great and affordable location. We did notice more people on the beach than usual, but still very quiet. We loved the location of At Ease. This unit is right beside the pool gate and very close the the boardwalk over the dunes. We thought the home could have been a little cleaner and the blender and can opener didn't work; but otherwise, it was a wonderful week. We would definetly recommend this property!

Fourth time up to the area. First time at this complex and with this rental company. Allaround great experience. Clean, comfortable and perfect location. Highly recommend!!

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. I know the area as a whole is supposed to be pet friendly, but I don't equate that with fur balls in the condo. The grill was in deplorable condition and had to be thoroughly cleaned before we could use it.
Coffee maker was also in sad shape. All this aside, it was very convenient to the beach and pool. We had an enjoyable vacation.
