The home was beautiful and very welcoming. Excellent location and the beach was enjoyable as it was not crowded at all. A hidden gem!

We booked it again for next year - a wonderfully peaceful location with a deep beachfront - very spacious and well equipped.

We had a great and very restful time at Paradise Palms. Our family truly enjoyed the peace and privacy this property offers. Overall, very well taken care of. Very comfortable beds, ample supply of towels and linens, well-stocked kitchen. The decks and comfortable outdoor furniture were one of our favorite things as we spent lots of time outside chatting, watching dolphins, and taking in sunsets in comfort! Great supply of family games and books if you forgot to bring your favorites. We loved that we were able to have a bonfire on the beach, and there were even two palms perfectly spaced to hang our hammock from. The pool was great, however even being heated it wasn't particularly warm enough for our liking. The management company was very attentive and did try to remedy the pool heat issue several times, but I would just skip paying for the heat next time.

Paradise palms was such a great stay. Perfect for my family and I. It was literally paradise. We felt like 90% of the time we had the beach to ourselves. The enclosed back porch watching the ocean and sipping coffee was everything. Loved the pool, it was a great option when we sanded and sun soaked . We washed off and hit the pool. Pool was clean and had floats for us to use . Beds were all super comfy . House was clean upon arrival . Also loved being able to bring my baby dog , she loved being with us and loved the beach . The only things I would say would make it any better is more towels. We loved this place. I hope to come back next year. A piece of paradise, thanks for letting my family and I make great memories. ❤️♥️❤️

The house was perfect for my husband and me. The beach access was simply amazing. We walked the beach each morning and evening.

A relaxing vacation. The house is right on the golf, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Dog friendly house, that is on a dog friendly beach. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are really comfortable. The house was clean newly updated and I can’t wait to go back. And the staff are friendly I will definitely rent again from them!

Everything was as advertised and nice and clean. Coastal Joe was easy to work with and very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels available. There was a minor problem with the pool not being heated for a couple of days, but that was corrected! We enjoyed all the places to sit and enjoy the weather and a cocktail.

There was a little miscommunication with check in, but overall this was an amazing place to stay!! It was so nice to walk directly out onto the beach. The crowd on the beach was very small for a Holiday and you basically had the beach to yourself.

The house itself was comfortable. The pool was a wonderful amenity to have. The location is very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked. Upon arrival, we noticed the pool area needed some attention. Additionally the sheets and bedding had a few stains and were tattered.

The house was great...wonderful layout, well maintained, no issues! The beach was great and quiet, which was really nice, and the pool was perfect...really appreciated that it was screened in too!

Overall we were very pleased with our beach rental. We loved the location and everything was clean and sufficient for our week long stay. The only thing that could have been better was the air conditioning. The way the thermostat was set and locked didn’t allow for the bedrooms especially to be as cool as they should have been for comfort. I realize during daytime hours we were all running in and out a lot interfering with the air conditioners ability to keep the rooms as cool as we would have liked, but the biggest complaint was the bedrooms not being cool enough at night. With that being said, otherwise everything was near perfect. Would definitely consider renting that same house again.

Amazing! The house feels so cozy and the Beach is private and perfect! The kids and adults loved the pool and spa and the staff were helpful and friendly.

This was our second year renting this particular house and we’ll be looking to rent it again next year.

The house was in as good of condition as last year and for that I am extremely thankful. There were a few additions like the fish cleaning station, more lounges in the pool area as well as pleasant landscaping there too. I had rented it once again because of the accomodations, the newness of everything after the refurbishing, etc. Then came the response from the owner about securing the same time period for next year which basically put a sour taste in my mouth regarding the whole program going forward. Please tell the owner that I appreciate the use of his really nice home for the past two years. We (and I) have really been blessed to have it during these 12 weeks. I am not, however interested in paying 30% more for 2022 over this year. Will you please look at what else that you might have for me. I would be willing to stay in first tier or beachfront. I really desire to stay within the six week period that we have rented during 2020 and 2021. Let me know what you have.

The repairs are being worked on as I am typing this. Thank you very much.

Our 35th anniversary. We could not have asked for a better place. Up to date decor pool and hot tub. We went bike riding to the Indian Past restaurant had a great lunch while leisurely checking out the scenery on our way back. Enjoyed walking on the beach the sand walkway to the beach through the palm trees was such a pleasure. Enjoyed mornings and late evenings on the screen porch. Plenty of R& R.

This was the perfect spot for a beach vacation! The property was directly on the Gulf. With the pandemic, it was perfect, because there are no crowds! We had a great time in Cape San Blas at our rental home. It was perfect for our family! The house was in perfect shape, the beds were all very comfy and the private screened in pool was a saving grace for our 3 year old daughter. This will be our new vacation spot EVERY year.

Our family had a great time at Paradise Palms! The house was beautiful, spacious, and spotless; and the location cannot be beat. The views from the upstairs beach balcony - oh my gosh!
Since we were right on the beach, we were able to put our umbrellas out early for the little kids, and then the teenagers could stroll out when they woke up (hours and hours) later. We didn't need them, but we did notice that there was a pack-n-play and a high chair for families travelling with babies.

The kids loved playing in the water, finding shells, and hunting for crabs. We rented kayaks and a paddle board for the week - worth every penny! The teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the kayaks, and were lucky enough actually see a sea turtle during one of their evening beach walks. The teens also enjoyed driving in to Apalachicola for iced coffee, and we all had delicious seafood takeout from Cone Heads on the Cape. We ate all of our meals on the screened in porch with the ocean as our background music. It truly was a perfect place for our big family vacation.

This home and location are PERFECT! The ad claims it’s on Cape SanBlas. However, it’s actually located next to Money Bayou - close to Indian Pass. Which is actually BETTER than the houses and locations we saw on the Cape. If you are looking for privacy along with incredible amenities, this is your spot! Beautiful home, gorgeous beach, wonderful pool, fabulous screened in porch and picture-perfect location. In fact, we repeatedly commented on how it looked like someone cut out a post card and placed it in front of us. Kudos to the staff at Coastal Joe as well. Speedy, informative communications and the home was immaculate when we arrived.We were really concerned due to Covid-19 to venture out on vacation. This was the absolute perfect option. Very, very few folks on this beach. Quiet, single row of homes neighborhood and we were able to bring our dogs. We will be back!Love, love, love Paradise Palms!

What a great location right on the Gulf of Mexico in the back, and with a refreshing pool in the front. When we weren’t enjoying the beach, we enjoyed the large screened porch. The kitchen was well equipped also.

If a secluded ocean view is what you want this is it! Many listing fool you with "ocean view" but this house couldn't get any closer to the sand white beach with full ocean view. Located about a mile from the raw bar is an added bonus. The house was spacious and adequately maintained. I read other reviews b4 our trip and was concerned about some of the negative feed back, but clearly there have been up dates recently as I found no maintenance or furnishing needs at all. My husband and I have stayed at multiple locations from all inclusive resorts to 4 star hotels and this home is at the top of our list of all around perfect vacation spots. The staff were very kind and accommodating as well. We look forward to visiting again!

Great space needs a little updates

Everything went smoothly. No problems with checkin or checkout. House was lovely and what a great location! Having our own pool was a plus.
Four of our family members went out on an all day fishing trip with Fish n Express and had a great experience. We also did a sunset cruise with Water Safari. We ate most of our meals in but we did go to Krazy Fish Grill one night and Indian Pass Raw Bar another night. Both restaurants were very good. We rented a cabana and two chairs for the week from Happy Cabana Rentals. They were great. Every morning they had the cabana set up by 8am and didnt take it down until after 7 at night. We also rented bikes from Happy Ours Rentals which was only about 2 miles from the house. This was the first time we stayed in Cape San Blas and we loved that it wasnt at all crowded the way the Destin area has become. We definitely would consider coming back to this area.

We had a wonderful time at Paradise Palms. The weather was great, the location is great, not too busy, and close to Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. The house was clean, a little bit dated, but clean, bed linens were fresh, clean and soft, bed was also very comfortable. We love that there is a place that will allow us to vacation with our pets. We would definitely stay at Paradise Palms again

Please beware before you book .all issues that were addressed by previous occupants have fell on deaf ears .no improvements - no corrections - we endured the same issues - the house is in need of general up keep and maintenance. Wall going up stairs crumpled when a hand was placed on it .it was wet and had a black substance on the wall paper don't know what it was so wont label it . will never rent from Costal Joe's - Mary knew we were having issues and failed to return my calls ( as she promised to do ) when ever i would call for our other options she would never answer the phone. And we were given the slip and slide song and dance ' SHE JUST STEP OUT " gave the management co 2 stars because they brought pans to the house . The overall worst experienced i have ever encountered in 30 years of vacation rentals

Overall it was fine and we really enjoyed the location on the beach and the pool. I just think for the amount of money we paid for the week, it should have been a little bit nicer.

Annual family vacation !! We enjoyed the house it is nice but needs some updates. The pool is awesome as well as the area around it. The beach was very nice . The inlet from the bay was right next door and we had crabs to see which we all enjoyed and several cranes . We would stay here again but needs new deck furniture asap. Also needs more cooking pans and bowls .

This was our second stay at Paradise Palms. This is such a great house. The main level screened in porch is a great place to eat, relax, and take in the phenomenal view. The living room has sliders all the way across the front that really bring the outside in. The beach is just steps away, and beautiful. The pool and hot tub are very emjoyable, as well. This house is very, for lack of a better word, comfortable.

Coastal Joe's Vacation Rentals is a top-notch company. Their agents are professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay with them again.

Kitchen amenities were lacking.. one bowl, melted wine glasses, no knives to cut the Easter ham. Many chairs in main living too dirty to even sit on. Such a beautiful home to let in this condition. We had a GREAT stay in this fantastic house. The house was as described, but even better. This is a beautiful house and it's in a great location. The house was VERY clean upon our arrival, and in good overall shape. We loved everything about it. The beach was outstanding and uncrowded. We loved the screened in porch off the living room. We had breakfast out there most mornings. The outdoor furniture was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a lot of fun, although we never could figure out how to turn on the pool lights at night. The front yard is nice. This is just a great property and hopefully we will visit again. Coastal Joe's was very efficient and great to deal with. We would highly recommend this property.

Our 4th year at this house. Still love the place, but porches need work and the patio furniture could use an update. Beds are very comfortable and the house is very clean. Would really enjoy the spa at the pool if it was warm. Beach is not as nice anymore since the bayou came through. But we still found a place not far from the house, to pitch our tent for the week. I think the carpet is new in the bedrooms? It's hard to find houses with a pool in that area, so that is a plus for us!!!

The house was large and comfortable for our 6 visitors. The private pool, patios, and large living areas were especially nice. The beach was nice, but not as nice as Destin. The creek that ran in front of the house into the gulf was tea colored and made the gulf waters unclear. The sofa bed in the living room needs to be replaced. It was so uncomfortable that no guest would sleep on it folded out. They just slept on it as a couch which was too short, but still more comfortable than when it was folded out.

We have always enjoyed our stay here but this stay was not as delightful as the other times we have been here. My husband and I have taken our two grandchildren because they love the swimming pool. We were told the pool was ready to go...some lights came on but not where the water fall is located. That was a bummer for the second summer. Indoors we were shocked to see so many knats. We had to purchase some bug spray and though we sprayed one night....the bugs were everywhere once again. We sprayed again and when the bugs died the floor was covered with bugs. We would not allow the children to walk where the bugs were laying. It was not the wonderful place we have rented the other 4 times. We have always had a nice time there and we made the best out of this trip. After calling for help in the house two guys came out and sprayed the house again. We understand there are going to be bugs or knats there in Florida but we have never seen so many. We are sure this house will be exterminated and the situation will be completely taken care of.....we have always enjoyed this property. A kiddie pool?? There is a hot tub and a FANTASTIC pool with steps for the little ones to play....but I have not found a kiddie pool. Over the years we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Palms but we have out grown this place which we felt was our own when we were there...we will get the same people to find us a bigger house with a pool so it all works out to be wonderful in the end.

The house was good. What you would expect in a beach house. Rooms were spacious. The pool area was very nice. We really enjoyed Indian Pass Raw Bar a mile down the road and St Joe's Shrimp Co to get fresh fish and shrimp. Only concern is the pass that used to be a few hundred yards further down the beach was diverted and ended up about 10 steps of beach in front of the house's beach access.

I'd definitely stay at the house again but would check to make sure the pass hasn't moved again and cut off beach access.

The people at Coastal Joe are amazing and go way beyond what is required. This was our second year at Paradise Palms and everything was as expected. Delighted to see they are correcting the television situation. The house has some problems, but I'll take the problems in exchange for the lower price.

Our Stay was from October 26 to the 29th 2015, the house is very roomy and right on the beach but a bit dated, overall we had a good time except for a few issues , 1. the TV reception was awful, it kept pausing in and out all week due to internet connection, not cable or satellite provider, 2. the hot tub never heated up at all. the carpet inside the house needs to be replaced, when you pay $500 a day these issues are unacceptable!

Everyone was wonderful, especially our situation,

The vacation was very relaxing ~ went by too quickly, but don't they all. This is the 2nd time we have rented this place. The house is great except they really do need to replace the mattress', after a week on them the back begins to hurt quite a bit. We replaced the coffee pot because the one that was there took over 20 minutes to brew a pot !! :) We also had to clean the vacuum cleaner because in trying to vacuum realized it wasn't picking up, and turned it over, and the beater bar wasn't even turning, the belt was not attached, it was gross. Also it might be nice to make the quests aware that to operate the hot tub you need to use the panel on the side of the house not the one by the hot tub. We missed a day of using the hot tub due to this issue. All in all if you are looking for a place to kick back and relax, this is it. Thanks and see you next year !!

We enjoyed our fifth time at this home. We were impressed with new furniture and is a very comfortable home on the beach.Location is very good and the house was very clean upon arrival.The Coastal Joe's office employees are all OUTSTANDING, and will help with any question you may have

The house is located right on the beach. It's just a short walk (down a boardwalk) and you're on the beach. We set up our canopy and left it on the beach all week. The pool and hot tub were welcome breaks from the heat. There were a few issues that we had to report to the rental company..they came out and fixed within a day. This house is pet friendly and the previous tenants had a dog. Two of the bedrooms had dog hair under the sheets (which we had to wash the first day) and there was dog poop in the pool area..totally disgusting. This was our second year here..we could tell when we walked in that the house hasn't been maintained..the house needs a good thorough cleaning and updates. Overall, the house was fantastic.

As always, we enjoyed our stay. Just like it was our home. The only problem was that the pool lights would not come on at night. We swam late anyway. We hope to return next year.

This was my family's 4th year staying at Paradise Palms. We have 5 adults and 1 dog in our family. We love the location of the house and the house is the only one we've found that fits all of our needs! We look forward to next year.

We have stayed in this house multiple times and we love it. The location is fantastic, the pool and hot tub are the perfect size, and the enclosure around the pool keeps it bug free as well as a safe area for our yorkie to run free. We will rent this house again.

First the listing says there is a new Hot Tub and unless it is hidden in a closet somewhere we could not find it. The property is in desperate need of updating. The carpet is stained and worn out, the interior walls need a fresh coat of paint, the kitchen is minimal at best. Excluding the refridgerator the appliances are old and wore out. Aside from your utensils the cookware is limited. There is a spa connected to the pool that is supposed to be heated but the remote mounted controls did not work to activate the heater. If you know how to work pool controls you can turn it on by the main control box. There are numerous other reviews that talk about the cable freezing up and they are all true. If there is more than one TV being watched at a time it is very bad. The location is great and was everything as advertized. If the home was given a little TLC we would rent it again but not till then.

Yes, the house is a bit worn, but no more than I would expect from a Gulf Front rental. The wallpaper in the photos looks like a rather garish orange stripe, but it is actually mauve and quite pleasant. The floor plan is awesome with two bedrooms facing the gulf and a marvelous jacuzzi in the large bathroom. The small deck off the boardwalk to the beach is lovely. The television continued to freeze. Coastal Joe responded promptly and sent a technician who told us the band with was just too small. We shut down all our electronics and the situation improved but was never eradicated. This house is great if you don't want to watch television. If the problem were corrected, we would probably stay again as we found the house comfortable and reasonably priced. We have been visiting the Cape for 20 years and stayed in a lot of houses. With the exception of the television, Paradise Palms is more than adequate.
