Reel Blessings

What a great house - all the amenities you would need and more to make you feel right at home. (We packed beach chairs and extra supplies, but we didn't need them. A nice touch to have a ball and leash by the entrance for our fur baby.) The house is clean, spacious and has a wonderful layout on the main floor. While in the kitchen, I could still talk to everyone whether at the kitchen island, large dining table, or on the couch watching TV. The bedrooms are large and the beds were super comfortable (I need to find out the brand! Even my husband loved the mattress!)The beach decor is tastefully done throughout the entire house. The beach is our happy place and you know you are in a special place when in the house or at the Gulf which is just steps away. It was chilly while we were there, so we did not swim in the pool, but it is a good size and is fully equipped with chairs, grill, table, etc. They also have assorted beach toys available. Really a blessing to find this house and we plan to return again when it is a little warmer and I am looking into booking it for a girls weekend. The perfect vacation home to create memories while relaxing with family and friends.

The property is fully stocked - it has of the conveniences home. We will be back and will return to this house.

Such a beautiful home that was perfect for our trip. 2 families and we had plenty of room for everyone. Everything was clean and the house was beautifully decorated and well kept. Kids loved the pool and I loved the number of balconies and short walk to the beach!

Home was very clean and comfy. Communication with rental agents was easy, being available to text with them was great. I would rent this home again. I especially loved the personal touches, like candles thru the home you could burn (it's a girl thing!) Beach is lovely, very fine sugar sand and semi-private during our early May stay. The people we met were all friendly and we enjoyed our interactions with them. Some days(late in the evening) we were the only ones on the entire beach. Our pup loved the trip too, everyone was welcoming to him around the neighborhood/beach.

This property came stocked with a lot more items than expected. It was such a nice surprise to see all the kitchen supplies. Coffee Keurig, air fryer, blender. The house is beautiful and all the porches are such a luxury. Will be staying again

Such a beautiful & clean home! Modern and updated with a nice booklet of activities to do! The beach itself is very calm and quiet and it’s perfect for a relaxing weekend- it’s impossible to be stressed here(:

Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals is an awesome business!! They went above and beyond helping us on this trip! Our stay at REEL BLESSINGS was wonderful and truly a Blessing! It was VERY clean and had everything we needed. It wasn't ocean front but the sunsets and sunrises were absolutely spectacular!! And such an easy and fast walk to the beach!! We highly recommend Coastal Joe Vacation Rentals and Reel Blessings!

Loved this three bedroom home with private pool. The living space is big and comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Private pool with outdoor shower was awesome. Love that the house is so close to the beach that we felt comfortable to let our kids walk back and forth between the house and beach.

I'm not sure you could have found a vacation rental more perfect for me and my family. The space was so nice, inviting, and decorated so beautifully. The rooms were just as described. The house was very clean and well accommodated. 10 stars for how great the ac worked throughout the house. Access to the beach and all amenities. I would definitely rent Reel Blessings for my next stay at the Cape. My advice, don't hesitate to rent this wonderful vacation home.

Absolutely loved Reel Blessings! Have been staying in SGI and Cape San Blas for the past 20 years. Probably stayed in 15 different houses. Probably the best house we have staying in terms of finishings and well maintained. Loved the setting. Great spot on the beach! Pool was so great to have. Everything was very very clean (which we don’t take for granted at the beach with all the sand). Also well stocked kitchen (probably best we have ever stayed in) which we greatly appreciate because we cook all of our meals almost.

Our 2 weeks in March were a great break from what has been a cold winter. Reel Blessing's willingness to accept dogs is a differentiator, allowing us to travel with our 3 no-shed Portuguese Water Dogs. All 16-legs enjoyed long beach walks, fun, sand, water! The layout of the house was perfect in that we could lounge by the pool, the dogs were able to stay out of the sun, cool, in the lower room beside the pool deck (with no access to the rest of the house). Cap San Blas itself was made for such quiet holiday. We would welcome a pool heater. Arrival March 18 was to a cool pool; a heater, guest paid use, would make Reel Blessings perfect!

Overall we had a nice stay. The location is great both to the beach, to town, to stores, etc. Here are a few suggestions: There are multiple loose spindles on the decks. Cleanliness was an issue. The home looked spot cleaned but could use a deep cleaning. I highly recommend purchasing a nice vacuum cleaner to leave for guests to use. There is a small vacuum for hardfloors but a vacuum is needed for the rugs. Sheets were clean but comfortors and blankets were dirty and had dog hair on them. We have stayed at Good Times II home last year and the place was spotless.

Reel Blessings is a beautiful beachy home. It is nicely decorated with updated furniture and overall fresh look. There are lots of stairs and no main level powder room, in case this is a problem for some. However, lots of stairs also means lots of decks which is perfect for a beach house. It is a newer house in a neighborhood that is currently undergoing new construction so there is a lot of construction mess/trash in the neighborhood and along the private access to the beach. The beach access is super convenient; however, we had to watch for nails on the path as two houses under construction surround the access path and it is a mess. Easy walk from house to a beautiful beach that we came and went from all day. The house currently has a terrific view of the ocean that is breathtaking. This will likely change once other homes are built up in front of it, but for now, it is spectacular with plenty of decks and balconies to choose from. Other than construction mess, the neighborhood is small with pretty beach homes. The home had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. As others mentioned, it appears the very lower level does not have HVAC so it was chilly down there on cold November nights. This was a minor issue. There is a decent sized pool, but it was too cold to swim in November. Bring your groceries with you as there aren't many options nearby other than the small Piggly Wiggly where it's lone grocer status is reflected in the prices. Lots of local mom and pop shopping and dining options in the area which is a refreshing change. We purchased bagged fresh shrimp from a local seller twice to-go. This is a dog friendly area where most other houses had dogs in them and many dogs on the beach. Overall, we loved our stay at Reel Blessings. We rent beach houses along the panhandle 2-3 times a year, and this is by far our favorite. We would definitely stay here again!

It was excellent, couldn’t have asked for anything better.

We had such a great stay. My children were absolutely thrilled with the pool and the ocean. The house was clean and smelled good. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook. We had a relaxing time full of many laughs, great food and good family fun.

We had a great vacation in Reel Blessings. The house was nice except that the first floor room had no vents for a/c so no one could sleep down there. The kids loved the pool! The house was clean.

Reel Blessings is a nice home and is truly comfortable - the beds are nice and is nicely furnished. The pictures are darker than what they are in person. The living room is really comfortable with nice, deep sofas after spending time at the beach & pool. The best place is the back patio off the kitchen - we were able to eat dinners here and watch the kids in the pool. Home is nice and clean and the owners even left us a bottle of wine and a note!

We stayed here in November and were incredibly impressed with the home~ It looks better in person and the bed and sofas were incredibly comfortable. The pool was great and the walk to the beach was just steps away. The home is very well stocked and super clean. The nice touches of the guide and pool toys and beach towels from the owners were super appreciated!
